is he lying

ent out with a guy i have known for years who is in medical school. we went on the best date and that is when he broke it to me he was moving across the country for rotations. that had been our first date but we have known each other for a while. he expressed interest in meeting again and told me before he left he would try to see me, but he never did. I texted him a few months later checking in and he responded with how he was doing, asked me questions back then went ghost. i had a dream ab him so i messaged him telling him ab it cause in my dream he was struggling with school which was ironic. he responded asking me to explain my dream and he told me he missed me and asked how i was doing and such. we texted back and forth a little..he told me he is barely catching enough time to workout and sleep but the convo ended with me on delivered again. i asked a friend if they think the guy is waiting until he is back to take things further and they said no. so i reached out again with the intent to be rejected, to he told they are too busy and do not like me like that but he actually told me he does like me and he is interested. he told me he is interested in where things can go. he is doing rotations in my hometown and i’m going home soon and he told me to tell him when i’m there so we can hang out if he doesn’t have exams/work. he mentioned it’s hard for him to stay in contact with family right now but he has to manage so it’s not intentional. he asked me my love languages and such as well. he made it seem like he actually we into me anyways he asked me a question and i’m back on delivered again, since monday. i told him i’ll be home in 2 weeks and he also didn’t respond to that.

idk what to think or do. some ppl are telling me if he wanted to be would. some are telling me im a back up, and others are telling me he is actually probably busy. what do you guys think?

i realised idk how to court

Hi! I(23f) am just here to ask for advice on how to court a guy. I've honestly never tried it and would love to ask on what guys want from a girl that likes them.

Just a short stuff about him:

He(22M) is a med student to he hardly has time to go out on dates/message people. He likes playing games or reading or watching stuff when he's not doing much. He's really sweet and I think he deserves to be treated well even though he says he's too busy to even think about treating himself.

I really really like him and would love to give him the world if he lets me. He's letting me court him but I honestly don't know where to start. I've been courted before but, it's so difficult when you're on the other side of the stick so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Dating a first year resident

Hi all I am in a new relationship w a first year resident and when we first talked he was on day shifts so our calls, texts, and frequency of seeing eachother were more frequent. We both felt really compatible and pretty stereotypical honeymoon phase like any new relationship would typically take off. Even would try to squeeze in an hour or two after we both get off work to share a meal. But and as soon as he started night shifts the texts have been non existent and very little communication on when we can see eachother next.

I could tell he was extremely stressed and busy after he showed me his pager and the state of his home (laundry not done, groceries as they were from a week ago etc).

Is this pretty normal and is it truly bc of the night shifts taking a toll on his physical and mental health. This lack of communication and uncertainty def has given me a lot of anxiety especially this early on. Any good words of advice or previous experiences much appreciated.

Moving in with BF

Hi everyone, my boyfriend just started medical school this year. We’ve been together for a couple of years. He’s slowly adjusting to his new study schedule. We’re interested in moving in together but I’m not sure when to. I live at home right now with my family.

Which month would be the least stressful for him? Before Christmas break, after, etc.? I would be hiring a moving company so they’d probably be in and out most of the day but it shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours. I was planning on waiting until January to move but we can’t really see each other during the week because we both have busy schedules (I’m 9-5 but studying for the LSAT). We live about 40 minutes away from each other and want to see each other sooner.

Thank you!
