hey there i have been doing the research and that and found the correct hardware i need being a ugreen 4 bay nas and a toshiba 14tb to run a jellfish server, i have been too afraid to this and i am basically asking you guys the pros (i am in uk btw) if its legal and can u be caught and if so what would be the repercussions, i currently have over 4 thousand movies physically and just found out they have expiration dates and i had most of them 20+ years so was thinking of ripping them for the jellyfin server any help on legal side/ best way to go about it (basically asking for reassurance too 😭) would be much appreciated:))

I appreciate there is a lot of advice on media PCs but I wanted it to be specific to my setup.

I'm looking to build a media PC.

I have a CAT 5 network through the house to most TVs. Connecting to 10gb switch. That's connected to my router with a 1gb fibre line.

I want to create a PC with enough umph to stream media from it across the network. I have a HD home run that also sits on the network.

All TVs have access to Kodi via fire sticks etc.

What kind of PC do I need?
