Hi I am thinking about buying a refurbished v5 directly from the site I want to know if I should buy from the meepo site or buy a different brand I’ve seen mixed reviews about costumer service. It’s my first time buying a electric skateboard I have also heard shipping isn’t great
Board shows 100%, Remote shows 50% but dwindles down to almost dead whenever ridden.
Hey there. So my meepo v3 electric skateboard that I bought pre-used about a year ago has been having some issues as of late. It was having this problem where it would show completely charged on the display on the board itself, but whenever I'd turn on the remote to actually ride it, the battery would show as either completely dead or about to die. However, I checked on it yesterday just to see if it had charged, and it had, so naturally I immediately took it out to ride. Then, when I checked the charge on it today, it was plugged in completely and in a different outlet than the last time it wouldn't charge, it was doing the same thing. I REALLY don't want to get a new board, nor do I want to take apart this one, but if I have to take apart this one, I'll do it. Thanks for the help, and let me know if anymore information is needed.
My board makes an awful noise because this part rubs against itself while spinning due to loose play between the motor and the base. What can I do about this?
Supposed to be compatible with my mini board and cost $150ish and two and a half weeks of my wasted life?

How does everyone deal with having to leave their board outside a store or something? Does anyone have a reasonable way to keep someone from just walking off with it? My thought was just to slip a bike lock between the motor mount and truck, but I feel their should be a better option.
And does anyone know of a dry bag that can fit a meepo envy longboard? I want to ride my board up river and float down but can't seem to find a dry bag that would fit it that also isnt so big I would fit in it 😂
Hello yesterday i hit a small bumb and my board turned off. On the remote it says the battery is empty. I figured out it was this plug that came loose (not completly jus slightly).
Today it turned off again while riding. When i got home i just unplugged it and put it back and it worked again. What is the best fix? I thought about just using tape, but dont know if that is the best idea.

I didn’t see any relevant Communities where I could post my question so I decided I will post it here (even though my skateboard is not a Meepo skateboard).I own an OwnBoard Carbon Zeus Pro Electric Skateboard , I used it a couple of times in my city (I live in a dusty city) and it was working well with no strange sounds.I remember that I once out of the skateboard at a high speed and the skateboard climbed up the sidewalk. The skateboard was still working well after that. After a couple of times of using the skatebaord, I noticed that it started making this strange sound (pls see video, the sound starts at 7 seconds). I could only hear the sound when I am going at 20+ Km/h ( at high speeds). I tried changing the bearings for all wheels and the sound was still there. Anyone knows why the skatebaord is making this sound and what can I do to make the sound go?
My gear drive just showed up, motors are about an inch or so longer so I’m assuming more torque I already had the 10.5 inch trucks. I DIY so that it would work on belt drive as you can see. I’ve had this board for a while now, so nice to see it with all the new stuff on it.
So I love my V4s but the roads and sidewalks in my town suck so I’m looking for something that can handle rough terrain dirt roads and 2 tracks at worst. I was looking at the hurricane as an option as it matches the performance of the onewheel GT at a lower price, I am looking at the pivot GT for the same reason but I would love to hear any suggestions in a similar price range.
I just got new Cyclone 107mm wheels put on my board! I ride surf style so I rarely get above 15mph. I have no feedback on how well they do on fast runs. BUT these wheels are WAY BETTER for my riding! I finally know what grip actually feels like when carving now! I thought the stock wheels gripped ok but now know they were slipping more than I realized, and not just when my board slid out. Also they drastically improved how smooth riding is! A lot of the roads in my area are “chipped” roads (tar and gravel) and the vibrations I felt in my feet would really make my feet hurt when I commuted with my board. Not anymore! I dont see a lot of people posting about these wheels so I figured I’d share my experience so far! Like I said, new install so I don’t have feedback on long term durability. But personally I’d rather buy new wheels more often if it means getting the performance I need for my riding style!
I need a new set of wheels for my city rider 3 which uses the 150 honeycomb wheels. Can I switch to the 155 pneumatic tires?
