How do y'all grow your hair out but keep it clean (also whats a good haircut for the future)

Got into actually being interested in my hair recently, dont mind the messy hair but

I wanna grow my hair out but keep it clean and find something good that matches my face shape and face, I like stuff like mod cuts etc just something stylish and not ugly and short

Advice regarding my hair style

Hello everybody, i need ur advice please regarding my hair style, knowing that ill also work on its treatment since as u can see it doesnt look well. So im thinking of asking a dr. what products i should use.
My routine is that i use head and shoulders shampoo everyday twice (my skin type is oily), and i dont use any other product.
Before, i used to brush it directly after taling a shower, but this pic is taken when i started just keeping it without anything.
The other pic shows how it becomes after taking a shower. I dont like it as it is, so i would like to make changes.
I appreciate any advice you could give

SUGGEST HAIRSTYLE AND HAIR PRODUCTS (please)

so i have fine and somewhat straight hairs and haven’t really had this much length until now( been growing them for some time the sides have been cut though , so they are somewhat short).

They also tend to fall down flat after they dry up ( for eg when they are wet i have easy time get a desired result for eg a puffed up middle part but after water loss they also lose the puff , someone told me that is not the case for people with somewhat coarse hair)

so i am growing these hairs so i can have a good hairstyle with long hairs.

please suggest a hairstyle i am looking for something like a layered cut , middle part-esque ( if not middle part then also good) and other hairstyle recommendations are very much appreciated.

I haven’t used much products but i used to apply hair oils till a year and half ago ( not much ).
but after i had stopped using it i realized i have very dry hair and after the water dries up they become mess ,i.e, they need to be somewhat moisturized to look good .

so someone told me that that this is called frizzing.
as a result I started using an anti frizz hair serum ( about 2 drops) and i have been using it since then( worried that over use may have damaged my hair).

I shampoo daily as i go to gym ( since 3 months)
but i also usually shampoo whenever I go out because i think pollution and dust gets stuck to hair and it might damage my hair.

I have heard about hair products that help hair stay moisturized , and also help to form certain hairstyles though i don’t know their names etc and would definitely like your help on that one too

i would also like to point out that i have always had my hair cut at a barber who only know about basic hairstyles
and last 4 images( the lacoste t shirt ones are the latest ( clicked yesterday))

so more or less i would like to know that

  1. is my hair damaged?

  2. should i grow them more ?( but it is becoming very hard to style these as the side form an upwards shape ( like a half ”U” after drying , if you get what i am tryna say)

  3. should i go to a hairstylist?

  4. which hairstyles would suit me ?

  5. which hair products to use ?

Does it look awkward? It’s finally long enough to make a pony tail, but I’m anxious to wear it like this (in front of not my closest friends, or at work).

What haircut should I get?

I’m going to the barber next week and can’t decide what haircut to get.
These photos show my front and side profile. I have straight hair. My hair is currently medium length with a middle part.
I’m looking for a modern haircut that suits my face shape, something like a mod cut, but I’m open to any suggestions.
If you have any recommendations or reference photos, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Buzz cut or nah?

AI says buzz cut. Wife doesn’t like it. What say you guys? FWIW I like the buzz cut. All buzz cut pics are AI.

Hairstyle advice

I basically have had this hairstyle for a few years now, and people only ever tell me to change it but I have no idea what to and I am a bit uncomfortable about my forehead (last pic).
Most the pics apart from first are somewhat old but hair is the same, basically fringe covers all of forehead and most of left side of hair (which has a little bit left longer on sides to lift fringe). I usually have sides done with a 0.5 to 0 and wait until hair is long enough to be annoying, oh and idk what I'm doing with facial hair currently.

So uh yeah, any advice on hairstyles that could look good on me would be very much appreciated, thank you.

Update

Posted a few days ago on suggestions for a haircut, decided to just let the barber do what we thought best, only prompt was that I want it shorter and more manageable.

Not sure if I’m fully sold on the cut but I like it better than before, not really interested in trying to cover my forehead anymore would rather wear it loud and proud.

Any suggestions for next time, thinking leave more on the back and sides. Additionally looking for opinions whether the facial hair stays or goes💗 thanks y’all

Short or Long Hair

I really enjoy having long hair but growing it out takes so long. Is there a style that looks better or fits my head shape?

What kind of hair do I have?

This 2 days no shampoo, use moroccan leave in conditioner and frizz spray every morning. This is when I just wake up before any styling. What type of hair would you say I have?
