Can't wait to get out of this place
Recently moved out here. The fucking traffic and infrastructure here is a clown show. My annoyance turned to hate when I experienced that joke of a drive through at innout

My husband’s job will be relocating him to Boise in the next 3 years so we are trying to determine where in the treasure valley we would like to move. Would love some help understanding the differences between Boise, Meridian, Star, Eagle, and any others that aren’t yet on our radar but should be. Anything under a 30 minute commute from Boise is fine.
For reference, we are 30 and currently expecting our first baby. Will probably have 2 or 3 kids total. We love the outdoors and our priorities are safety, close enough access to shopping (like Costco, groceries, Target, etc) and great schools.
My husband’s current salary is around $120k and they will match that in Idaho.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Doing a self build single family home in Meridian. Been applying to national hard money lenders and got a few bites. But thought to myself, I should try someone local in town if possible. Tried the local companies you see online and they weren't offering the standard construction loan I'm looking for. Ive read that there are individual lenders that invest by making these types of loans. Anyone know of someone?
