Should jaw be relaxed while mewing?
They say mewing should be done with teeth lightly touching but my teeth don't touch when I keep my jaw relaxed. Should the teeth be necessarily touching. Also I don't have a perfect bite, so my teeth while touching are not symmetrical
I have really bad facial asymmetry
It always looks like im turning my face slightly to the side i swear im not it looks the same in the mirror
What do i do??
Is my jawline recessed?
Can I fix this by mewing and fat loss? (Iam16)
Mewing is exhausting me
Hello I am 24 years old. I started mewing 2 weeks ago but recently my jaw is getting really tired and I feel exhausted and mentally tired too. I was clenching teeth for a long time and now that I start mewing I try not to clench my teeth. But is mewing supposed to be this tiring? I used to have pretty sharp jawline before I got fat. Thanks for any help!
I create slight vacumm and swallow and hold that position.
I feel chopped 24/7
What can I do to fix my face I am so insecure about my side profile please help
Uneven smile (right side higher) + I chew mostly on one side. Is this fixable?
Hi everyone, I noticed that when I smile showing my teeth, my smile is not symmetrical. The right side lifts higher and looks more dominant compared to the left.
I also realized I usually chew harder foods on my right side most of the time.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Can this be related to muscle imbalance from chewing habits?
Is this something that can improve over time if I start chewing evenly on both sides or do exercises? Or is it mostly permanent?
Would appreciate any advice or personal experiences.
Fixed jaw recession by mewing for 7 months, and improved my cheekbone mass and eye area.
I’m 18 in all the pics. I know it’s not as impressive as most transformations on here, but there’s still a noticeable difference to me. I took progress pics without makeup and tried to keep the same angling. I followed Oscar Patel mewing method. For my eye area, I slept more and did eye exercises to improve my canthal tilt. for the exercises, I would run my fingers from the nose over the eye bags toward the hairline and pull a little and squint repeatedly. the eye pics are 5 weeks of progress taken every friday for the past 5 weeks. again, all the pics are no makeup and I attempted to get the same angling. I improved the recession in my mandible and improved my maxilla development by mewing constantly, eating healthy, and sleeping more. I also started to debloat using different methods by drinking a lot of water, eating potassium, and doing facial massages. my next focus will be making my nose more narrow by doing lymphatic drainage massages to reduce inflammation. I know there are different acids I can use to make my nose narrower, but I’m going to try massages for a few months and see. my original goal was to go from ltb to htb without surgery, but I think that’s kinda impossible at this point tbh. but I would say I’ve already gone from mltb to lmtb, so maybe I could get to hmtb with a few more softmaxxes and frauding.
Is this change attainable without surgery?
I think a huge problem with my aesthetics is my short ramus. I tried to morph it (badly) on the second pic and I feel like I’d look a lot better.
Is there a way to fix this at 23?
Is my maxilla recessed?
My imw is 40mm, and also head is tilted down on photo obviously. Second photo is my before I have been mewing for 2 years and 9 months. Started mewing at age of 17y, now 20y.
I know its not same angle, tilt, head position, but you can see progress clearly.
I ask if my maxilla is recessed since I have small bump on my nose, I guess it shouldnt been there is maxilla is properly developed.
Took my "before" photo
I had no idea my face was so....flat. Not to mention you can practically SEE how downturned my maxilla is from the outside 😱
Do you see any signs of facial recession? Been in my head lately
Honest review of Clavicular's course
He’s obviously insanely popular in the looksmaxing / self improvement space right now so thought id share my thoughts.
What's good:
His skincare stuff is genuinely useful. The product layering order thing where it matters what you apply first vs second actually changed my skin pretty fast. I was putting niacinamide on at the wrong time in my routine for months and didn't know. Skin texture improved noticeably within like 3-4 weeks of switching things up.
The under eye section was solid too. Caffeine serum timing and some other stuff I hadn't seen elsewhere.
What's not good:
He barely talks about posture and body stuff and it's pretty surface level compared to other creators. Felt like an afterthought.
Doesn't really go deep on mewing, tpulling, or any jaw/palate stuff. If that's what you're mainly focused on (which most of us on here are) you'll be disappointed. It's more of a softmaxxing/frauding course than anything structural.
A lot sections felt like stuff you could find on reddit honestly. Not bad but not mind blowing.
Overall:
Good for skincare specifically, mid for everything else. I'd give it a 6.5/10. If you're on this sub for mewing and jaw development it's not gonna be the main thing you need. But as a supplement to the structural stuff it's could be worth going through, not for the price tho. Lmk if you have questions
