He is still the all-time passing yards leader (11137 yards), being the only QB to ever cross the 11K yards mark. His 81 career passing TDs is 2nd all-time. He led his team to the playoffs 3 years in a row, with 2 championship appearances (1983 and 1985) and 1 championship victory (1983), was the 1983 USFL Championship MVP, named the 1983 USFL Most Outstanding QB, and was a member of the 1983 All-USFL team.
