Made some mistakes with my handmade jewelry now planning to start over again, help me know more about this market.

Hi, so I used to run a small handmade jewellery business called Flower Pop Shop, ngl, I did make money, but the major MISTAKE I made was I wanted to be everything all at once, I did not make profit but was able to recover my investment, but now I come to think of it, one day I wanted to sell resin jewellery another time beaded. But now I have clarity, I come from non business background but my interest lies in starting something of my own, my interests are varied but since I have some clue about jewellery business, I wish to know whether it is worth investing in 316L gold plated jewellery?

How saturated is the market? Do customers really prefer minimal jewellery? How can I build loyal customer base?

My Classmates Said These Don’t Look Good — Honest Feedback on My Handmade Charms?

I recently started making handmade beaded charms for phones, bags, and keychains, and these are some of the first ones I made.

The reason I’m asking for honest opinions is because something happened in class today that made me overthink them a bit. We’re making handmade farewell giftswhich  for seniors, and when I showed these, some classmates indirectly suggested that they “don’t look good,” “look too traditional,” or may not work as gifts. So now I genuinely want outside opinions instead of just sitting in my head about it 😅

Please be brutally honest:

Do these look sellable as phone charms, bag charms, or keychains?

Would adding extra charms/pearls/ribbons/metal pieces make them better?

What exactly should I improve — colors, bead type, shape, finishing, aesthetic, etc.?

What price range/budget usually works for handmade charms like these?

I’d really appreciate genuine feedback, whether positive or critical, because I actually want to improve and maybe sell handmade accessories in the future.

Would you buy handmade floral rings like these? 🌸💍 (Honest feedback needed)

Hi everyone!

I run a small handmade craft business in India and I’ve recently started experimenting with these delicate floral statement rings made using preserved flowers, tiny leaves, and hand-assembled detailing.

I’m trying to understand if there’s an actual market for pieces like this before I invest more into materials and packaging.

A few questions:

Would you wear something like this casually or only for special occasions?

What price range would feel reasonable in India?

Do you prefer:

subtle/minimal floral rings

or more dramatic bouquet-style rings like this?

Would these work better as:

fashion jewelry

gifting items

proposal/bridal accessories

or Instagram aesthetic pieces?

I’d genuinely appreciate honest feedback, even if you personally wouldn’t buy them. Trying to learn before launching 🌷

How much would you pay for this handmade textured snake canvas?

I spent more than 16 hours making this piece. It’s my first time creating something on canvas so I honestly don’t know if it’s good enough or not

But I’d really love honest feedback. Do you think this is something that could actually be sold? If yes, what price range would make sense? If not, what changes or improvements should I work on? Any advice is appreciated!

Canvas size: 30.48 cm × 40.64 cm

Hi everyone, We have recently started a small business named "FLORANI", where we are selling pipe cleaners flower bouquets, desk buddies, flower bunches for vase and keychains. We are based in Charni Road, Mumbai. We have successfully completed 13+ orders on Reddit.

We got this order when a person wanted to gift something for his girlfriend. We showed him different bouquet options. He chose the lavender bouquet and here's what he has to say when he received the order!

Looking for reliable China Sourcing Agents – Any personal leads?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in the process of prepping for the upcoming school season and looking to import school essentials for kids (stationery, backpacks, etc.) along with some home utility items.

As many of you know, finding a reliable sourcing agent in China can be a hit-or-miss experience. I’ve been browsing platforms like Alibaba, but I’d much rather work with an agent that someone in this community has actually used and had a good experience with regarding quality checks and logistics.

I’m specifically looking for agents who:

  • Have experience with small to medium MOQs.
  • Are transparent with their commission/fee structure.
  • Ideally, have handled shipments to India before (to help navigate the current customs landscape).

If you’ve worked with someone reliable or even have tips on what "red flags" to look out for when vetting agents for these specific categories, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Happy to take recommendations via DM if you aren't comfortable sharing contact details publicly.

Thanks in advance for the help!

How much should I sell this textured art piece for?

Dimensions are 30x30cm, canvas board textured art piece! I didn’t even think of selling it when I was making it but somehow I feel like maybe now I should. Took me over 30 hours to create it!
Tell me what you guys think?

Edit : Damn, I did not expect all these responses! Thank you so much all for the compliments and advice it means a lot to me. Textured art is more of a passion of mine for various personal reasons and it was my first time putting it out like this.
