This week has been evaluation for my grade for the next year choice of math. Right now in 7th it’s either curriculum standard math or pre algebra. I did take the standard math, but I got above the baseline entrance for algebra 1. The choice is mine. Is taking the harder math better? Or should I stay in the regular math class?
So since 6 th grade I’ve been a straight A student and in 7th grade I got one B that really messed with me. I don’t know how to cope with it especially since I moved to a different school. Now fast forward to 8th grade, I have a C in math and i can’t get it out of my head. Sometimes I’m laughing w my friends and then that grade flashes in my head. Although I managed to get it up to an A now, I can’t accept that I failed. I know it’s bad but academic work sorta defines me and I’ve been struggling to cope with it. Anyone have any tips ? Because it’s the end of the year and I feel like I’m gonna fail high school.

Has anyone here ever had someone ask you for favors but then immediately back stab you when you do something for yourself? Like there’s someone I knew that would do exactly this and would always ask me for my pop at lunch, but she’d always find petty stuff to argue for or shut down that I’d tell people (not even to her). Also the picture is a bit off topic but I thought it fit the vibe.
