Up next is probably my FAVORITE horror head as a kid. I carried this one everywhere. Released in 1992 as part of the series 1 set. It’s interesting to me that Bluebird never chose to go with a vampire themed doom zone despite the fact they made vampire themed horror and shrunken heads. Thanks for looking!
If you had horror head sets, then you remember this one. Definitely more gruesome looking than Corpus. I also had this set as a kid, but always preferred Corpus. Released in 1992 as part of the series 1 horror heads. It’s interesting to me in the earlier sets that Max looks almost toonish with blue caps. The later sets seem to depict him more how he looks in the cartoon. Thanks for looking!
Quick posting just to share my Corpus set. This was one of my favorite horror heads as a kid. This was released in 1993, and is from the 2nd series of horror heads. This set also comes with a green variant. The variant is actually the one I had as a kid but it’s a lot tougher to find now. Thanks for looking!

Here's some more of my collection I've been working on for a couple years now. Would love to add the sealed series 3 horror heads to the collection some day.
I was really excited when I found 1, then I found 13 more 😂 These are all Vintage Bootleg Pocket Horrors based off the popular Mighty Max series. Although they are very simple, the underwhelming artwork and colors just really pop. It doesn’t hurt that they are also extremely valuable and rare. My wife can’t quite grasp why toys are “worth so much” !
So Lava Beast was my guinea pig. It was a little tougher to find clear photos of intact cardbacks than you would think. Pretty happy about how it turned out. Considering upgrading the size to maybe a 6 inch figure bubble? That way you can display the opened playset in front of the cardback. Also going to laminate the cards and adhere them to the backs of the cases. So I have some questions!

Sadly, Sluggon is missing from Zomboid, but that’s relatively easy to replace.
