Militado ML25

I ordered this ML25 and then immediately had buyers remorse. Now that I’ve had it for a week I totally like it. I got the one with the polished stainless bracelet which I sized and replaced with an inexpensive leather strap. I prefer leather for work since mine is frequently sliding around on my desk. The VH31 movement is pretty cool and this thing has the best lime out of all my watches. It still had (very minimal) glow the next morning when I woke up. None of my other watches can say this not that I have some grand collection. I had an itch for white dial watch and couldn’t find many pics so here some of mine.

Just ordered my first Militado - a few questions!

Ordered the ML08 Murph in white. I have a few questions:

  1. I ordered from the Militado website - how long does delivery to the US typically take?

  2. What size straps should I be looking for in terms of compatibility? Is there a measurement besides lug width I need to look out for? Is it 20mm on the ML08?

  3. Do I need a special tool to remove and add different straps?

  4. Is there a bracelet that's higher quality than the stock one that is known to be compatible and looks good on it? I think someone had mentioned the Uncle strap for the Hamilton 38mm Murph fits it well? Anyone have pictures of that?

Thanks!

My ML14 with Jubilee

I was looking for a good stainless steel bracelet, and after slightly modifying the end links myself and attaching it, it ended up fitting the vibe perfectly.
This is probably the coolest ML14 in the world lol.

Militado ML20 anti fingerprint coating coming off??

I bought a "new" version of the ML20 from AliX just over a week ago it arrived and I have been wearing it since. When I first got it the clasp seemed a little glossy for a blasted finish and I thought that must be the anti fingerprint coating in the description.

Now after a week the coating is disintegrating and breaking down. It looks terrible and I don't know what to do? I imagine all of them have the same coating so I don't know if returning the watch due to defects would ultimately resolve the issue. I like the watch and I feel like if I could get this coating off the watch it would be fine but I don't want to damage the finish.

I wish Militado either used hardened steel or just blasted steel with no coating.

Honestly I don't know what to do? Has anyone else had a similar experience with a blasted steel finish on a Militado?

I was planning to do an initial review of the new dial, etc but then this happened and I would like to get this resolved before I move forward. I also want Militado to know what is happening in my case so if there is something they can address before more people complain.

Any constructive information would be appreciated.

I just want to be clear that the watch is great but for this one issue.

How to check for refund militado

Hi there

I have been messaging someone from militado.com, regarding my wrong purchase and the person offered refund but i have to pay 7% transaction fee.

I have accepted this but no response and it has been over 24 hours since messaging.

I was really glad to have this direct message but then it stopped and just concerned it might be forgotten and the order process.

Is there an email address i can send to militado to make sure?

Thanks in advance

The hype is real. I just got in this militado ml07 from Amazon. It was 55$ The specs punch far above its weight. I recently had the Hamilton 33mm quartz and spec wise the miltado is better. Ive had 3 hamiltons and have kept zero. I threw it on an Amazon khaki canvas strap. I might get an olive erikas for it which is funny as the strap will be double the cost of the watch. Anyways overall I am very impressed and recommend these.

Ml08 Bracelet

How’s their bracelets? They can be had for $25 so I was considering one for my Murph. They say they have solid links? Are the end links solid?

Where are 38-40mm vh31 industrial brushed cases?

I’ve noticed a trend on AliExpress toward “small-wrist-friendly” watches, and it has some downsides.

Brands like Militado, Addiesdive, and others offer many 36 mm models. Militado is a bit better in variety, but there are issues: the ML05 isn’t for everyone because of its long lug-to-lug distance, and while the ML05’s design is interesting, the shiny bezel sometimes looks out of place.

There’s also a shortage of 38–40 mm watches with the VH31 movement. This affects people with medium-sized wrists (around 7–7.5 inches) the most. For those of us in that range, a 36 mm watch can be worn but often feels off.

I own a Tudor BB58–inspired watch from another brand that’s 40 mm and automatic. For me and many others, a 38 mm case is ideal. Or even larger.

Do you have plans to release new cases—something similar to the ML08 but fully brushed for a more industrial look? Or at least a slightly larger ML18 variant?

I am Blue ! ML05

For a $50 love how much time this is getting on my wrist. Definitely great watch for the value.

Baby Alpinist vibes

The Militado ML08 is still one of the best affordable field watches with that Baby Alpinist-inspired design, clean dial, versatile look, reliable performance, and it won’t break the bank.

At 38mm, it wears perfectly on both smaller and larger wrists, making it an easy everyday watch option for watch enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Lume is a mix of blue and green. Equipped with sapphire crystal, screw down crown, and quality finish for just around $100, it’s easily a great choice for a daily beater.

ML14

Just arrived. Super nice watch. But the NATO strap is crap. Any recommendations for others? I’m thinking maybe brown leather?

EDIT: for anyone wondering about the lume, it easily lasted a night.

Militado ML20 finishing

hello everyone. im planning to buy the ML20 but there are some things than concerns me. i hope there are some ml20 users out there can point me to the right direction.

  1. the coating of the case: ive noticed on their description that they use some kind of coating on the case to avoid fingerprints. i was wondering after some time of use, will the coating worn off and if it does, does it looks dorrefent visually from the area that still has the coating?

  2. self repair/buff: the finishing of the watch is sand blasted. lets say i scratched it on the side of the case, is there any way i can buff it out to the same finishing as the original? or i cannot remove the scratch myself?

  3. the crown issue: i heard that the crown is very hard to screw down.

i love this watch as the size will fit my wrist perfectly but those issues mentioned above are giving me a second thought. i love seeing my watch in perfect condition so id love to be able to remove scratches myself. thank you so much in advance

Request: Miltado ML17 in slim case

Request: could you please homage the CWC G10 DATE version (left photo)?

The RDUNAE RA01 is the no-date version (middle photo), so the slim case is available to Chinese watch manufacturers.

Militado manufactures already the ML17 (fat boy; right photo). I'm asking you to think about taking the same case as RDUNAE RA01, put in the dial and movement of the ML17, and create a new watch without the need to manufacture new parts. Thank you for your consideration!

The cookie cream has arrived

It actually looks better on a blue strap than I assumed it would
