I've been commuting by electric pedal assist bike from Riverwest to near the airport since early this year, and what started as a much longer bike ride has been cut down considerably because I've noticed the same people going the same general direction turn at different intersections and use routes I would have never thought of (and apparently none of the map apps either).

Just the other day I was behind someone heading northbound who turned a block before getting to Cathedral Square and then down an alley that was shockingly pristine.

Anyways, I just want to say I appreciate everyone who is more experienced being helpful even if they don't realize they're helping.

Thanks to all the rain last week, Spouse and I wanted to ride on some paved trails. We discovered that the Watertown/Oconomowoc Interurban Trail is open (WOIT), so now you can bike this trail to the Lake Country Trail (LCT), which has been extended all the way to Oconomowoc. Figured I'd share here because as new as the WOIT looked, the LCT from the Waukesha County line to Oconomowoc was so new that when going across the bridge into Oconomowoc, you could still smell the new lumber smell on the bridge railing. Out and back from Watertown to the eastern end in Waukesha was 56 miles. 10/10 ride. It's not a rail trail so there are some hills.
