Hello Mind Pump Fans!

I (we) created a 24/7 streaming (radio style) podcast platform called SONODAY, and one of our chosen podcasts in the Health & Fitness category is Mind Pump! :D

If interested in just tuning in and listening to old (and new) episodes, more like radio, then feel free to check it out! Feedback is welcome.

Hope it brings you some joy to just tune in and listen. :D

listen.sonoday.com (in Health & Fitness), please enjoy!

P.S. - To get out ahead of it, this is the podcast's public RSS feed, and we are not hosting it. All listens, analytics, and sponsor reads you hear on SONODAY are still for the podcast, so they get all the credit. This means listening through us helps them boost their listener count for their ads, their sponsors and their discovery! Check post history for deeper details on Podcast technology and permission to play feeds.

What program should I follow?

My girlfriend wants to get into strength training. She has never strength trained in her life and I want to do something that she will find fun and able to complete. She is fit and does group classes and yoga on a weekly basis. We do have full access to a gym. what program do y’all think she would find the most success with?

What’s with the constant peptides posts??

This sub seems to be constantly flooded by peptides vendors, or buyers… It’s super weird!

What is the reason for that - why are you people posting that here?

Maps performance phase 2

Is it just be or is this phase massively lower body focused (with some core as well) and feel like neglecting upper body besides a bit of chest? Brutal on my legs though! On foundational day 2 and missing working my arms, shoulders and back in any meaningful way. Am I missing something?

$750/mo for coaching??

Bought MAPS Anabolic during the Black Friday sale and honestly, the program itself was solid. Nothing revolutionary, but it followed good strength and conditioning principles and gave me something structured to follow instead of winging my workouts for once. I got noticeably stronger and saw good results.

That said, I expected a lot more from the overall experience. Even at 70% off, it basically felt like buying a giant stack of PDFs. The workout plan, nutrition guides, mobility stuff, bonuses — everything was just more files to sort through, print, and drag to the gym. In 2026, it’s kind of wild they still don’t have an app.
The biggest letdown was the included “free” 45-minute coaching call. The podcast and promotional material made it sound like you’d get personalized advice on tailoring the program and nutrition to your goals. Instead, it was nothing but a sales call for monthly coaching. The coach was friendly enough, but every part of the conversation circled back to upselling me. He spent 40 minutes using high pressure sales tactics and then 5 minutes saying, “Yeah, follow the program as it’s laid out and bump calories by 2-300 and you’ll see great results.” That’s the extent of personalization.

Out of curiosity, I asked the price: $750/month, paid upfront. Bro, that’s a car payment, or rent, or groceries for most people. Told him that’s crazy and he only ran down a list of sales perks and that I’d get more free programs as part of it. For that price, I can work with a local trainer multiple times a week for 3 months and actually get in-person coaching plus a gym membership. $750 a month for online check ins and weekly FaceTime follow ups/program adjustments. He even followed up the next week to see if I’d reconsidered the offer.

Overall: good program, good structure, decent results. But the lack of tech, the overload of PDFs, and the aggressive coaching upsell really took away from the experience for me.

MAPS Strong for women?

I’m starting this program and wanted to know if any women had success getting through it all the way. It seems pretty heavy on upper body exercises for phase 1. I’m an experienced lifter and have gotten through symmetry. The volume for strong in the beginning is really heavy too. Any advice on how to make sure this program is successful? Do you always keep it as written? With the sets going up each phase did you keep the same weight, especially for lower?
