MAPS at home options

I was just wondering which of their programs have a dedicated at home options? I train at home and only have access to some adjustable dumbbells, a bench, a TRX, some bands and kettlebells. I have anabolic, resistance and suspension. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Musings

I’m gonna stick my head above the internet parapet here and risk having it blown off but here we go.

There’s a lot of moaning on here (particularly in the rant thread) about the content these guys are pushing now. Firstly, I get it, the constant ads and the stories that turn into ads is really tiresome but you all have free will. No-one is forcing you to listen to this. I’ve only been listening for a couple of years so I haven’t heard the evolution and I understand it was a lot better back in the day. But again, if it isn’t for you anymore, don’t listen.

Ultimately it’s a free podcast so no harm is really being done, nobody is out of pocket now that the tone and content has changed and if they want to line their pockets so be it, don’t we all want to be more wealthy and/ or successful in what we do?

Personally I just sort of zone out when they try to sell me the next big thing and I remind myself that I’m an adult who doesn’t have to believe everything I’m told and buy everything I’m sold.

I’ve gained a great deal from the podcast in terms of free advice and Anabolic has been a game changer for me.

So at the end of the day, if you don’t like the podcast anymore that’s fine, go and find something else, there’s loads out there. Don’t feel obliged to shit on it for everybody else.

Maps PPL

I find myself loving the PPL program and also find it’s fits the work home life balance perfectly.

If it’s a program I continue to run will I stop seeing results and start doing more harm than good?

Maps 15 Question

Hi everyone! I’ve been running MAPS 15 Advanced and am really enjoying it so far. One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that there seems to be a bit of an imbalance between pushing and pulling movements, with less pulling volume overall.

Has anyone else noticed this? If so, how have you addressed it? Would it be worth adding an extra pulling compound movement or two throughout the week, and if so, where would you fit them in without interfering with the program as written?

Would love to hear what others who have run the program think!

MAPS Performance

I’m reaching the end of my first ever MAPS programme, Anabolic. My thoughts are now turning towards what I should do next. I’ve been considering Performance. How would you guys rate this as a progression and a second programme to have on rotation with Anabolic? What are the main differences between the two programmes? Thanks

Hormones Question: Underproducing Thyroid & Testes

I have an underproducing thyroid and low testosterone of 219 being in my early 40’s.

Once I get both back in optimal range, via medication for thyroid and TRT, can I realistically expect my physique to change dramatically over the next year?

Background: I’ve been killing it in the gym with PPL split 2x per week the past 12 months and before that was a long distance runner.

Would love to hear other’s experiences or thoughts on if I’ll get some sick gains from fixing my thyroid and testosterone.
