Medieval Kingdom SMP | MineColonies + Villager Recruits

Two weeks into the world, Crownfall already has its own politics.

The first King has been crowned. Kingdoms have sworn alliances, the realm has seen its first war, rivalries are beginning to form, and every week the actions of each faction are recorded through our Prestige & Legacy System.

There's still plenty of room for new kingdoms to rise.

Crownfall is a medieval kingdom-building server built around MineColonies and Villager Recruits. The focus isn't rushing progression, it's building believable realms, commanding armies, negotiating with your neighbors, and leaving a legacy.

What makes Crownfall different?

  • Weekly Prestige Rankings based on development, diplomacy, military strength, influence, and activity—not just PvP.
  • Kingdom Announcements, where factions share their progress, diplomacy, victories, and rivalries, creating an ongoing story written by the players.
  • Noble hierarchy with Counts, Dukes, a single reigning King, and the ability to take on vassals.
  • Meaningful warfare, where kingdoms fight over territory, influence, and vassalage instead of pointless destruction.
  • Via Romana, encouraging players to build proper roads between settlements to unlock fast travel.
  • MineColonies for living medieval towns that grow alongside your kingdom.
  • Villager Recruits with patrols, cavalry, siege weapons, and large-scale battles.
  • A player-driven economy built around trade rather than admin shops.
  • A smaller, active community where kingdoms actually interact with one another.

Whether you want to found a powerful empire, build a wealthy merchant state, become a loyal vassal beneath a greater kingdom, establish a religious order, or simply build an impressive medieval town, there's still plenty of room to make your mark.

The world is still young. Every castle built, every alliance signed, and every war fought becomes part of Crownfall's history.

Need advice for couriers

Im currently building a Nile style colony (by Spumantii) and im loving it, the builds are so gorgeous and detailed....BUT. they are also insanely expensive, which I knew going in, and im finding my biggest choke point is how long it takes my couriers to deliver resources to where they need to be. In past colonies ive always just crafted and delivered resources myself but im trying to get the mod to be as self sufficient as possible this time. My colony is currently lvl 3 and I have 6 couriers, obviously upgrading thd warehouse for more couriers is the obvious answer but everything is so expensive I was wondering if anyone here knows how to improve courier efficientcy without upgrading the warehouse.

TLDR: how do I improve courier efficientcy without adding more couriers

How do Colonists interact with custom tools?

I'm playing Life in the village 4, and I really need to know how colonists interact with custom tools. Mainly Tinkers Construct.

From googling, apparently colonists will use tools as normal, but my experience has not been this straightforward. 1 of my builders (the one in the picture) will use the custom pickaxe a lot, while the other builder will sometimes refuse to use it. My miner just completely ignores tinker pickaxes.

So my question is: What are the actual rules. No speculation. Any hints? Do materials and mods affect it? do they have to have a vanilla pick in the inventory to use the custom one? any requirements?

How much ram for a server with only the minecolonies mod?

I am thinking about hosting a server for just 2 people so we can play together, and I was wondering if with only 2gb ram it would be enough to run vanilla plus only minecolonies mod.

Thanks

Large Bottle Milking Cooldown

Hello! Unsure if this is still "support" related, but it's not a bug or anything, so I assumed it'd go here. Sorry if that isn't the case.

I'm currently playing in a 1.21.1 mod pack, and my Minecolonies is 1.1.1250-1.21.1. I recently started it, and, upon attempting to set up an easy early-game food source for my colonists, discovered that this version includes a cooldown for milking cows with a large bottle. I played for a while in a different pack, and this wasn't the case, so it's safe to say it was a shock lol.

Is there any way to change this? I looked through some of the config pages and didn't see mentions of it. Is there something I could do or a mod I could add that gets rid of this? Or is it just me needing to change my version? I'm not sure I want to test that, as I did that before with this pack and ended up having to delete and redownload it because everything got messed up lol. What version gets rid of this? And, again, is there a config or mod for this?

I just want my sweetberry yogurts. Please help.

So a server I play on added minecolinies but its 1.18.2 . For that I want to build a custom style pack. What naming/ folder nestling scheme do I follow and what should I keep in mind?

So I play on a server based on the claws of berk modpack and the host recently added minecolonies to bring in a tribe system. I want to make a custom style for my tribe based on the how to train your dragon series mixed with more custom designs. I have seen the official video on how to scan them, but I don't know if there is a speicifc naming scheme/ structure that I need to abide by. I also wanted to make a custom section for player utility builds and dragon pens/ encolosures. How do I do that?

# Medieval Kingdom SMP | MineColonies + Villager Recruits

Our world has now been live for one week, and it's already developing its own history.

Kingdoms have risen across the map, each with their own castles, fortresses, alliances, rivalries, and ambitions. Some are focused on building prosperous realms through trade and infrastructure, while others are preparing their armies for future conflicts.

The best part? There's still plenty of room for new players and new kingdoms.

This isn't a massive public server where everyone gets lost. We're building a smaller, community-focused medieval SMP where every kingdom has the opportunity to shape the world's history.

Features

  • MineColonies for building living, growing medieval settlements
  • Villager Recruits with formations, cavalry, siege weapons, and large-scale battles
  • Kingdoms, noble ranks, diplomacy, and vassalage
  • Player-driven economy and trade
  • Organic roleplay through politics, alliances, and warfare
  • Weekly Kingdom Prestige & Legacy system
  • Beautiful 6,000 × 6,000 handcrafted world with plenty of room to expand
  • Long-term world with active development and regular updates

Whether you want to build a fortified mountain keep, establish a wealthy merchant republic, command a disciplined military kingdom, or forge a vast empire, there's still plenty of land waiting to be claimed.

We're looking for players who enjoy building, collaborating, competing, and creating memorable stories together.
