Watching midoffs angers me.. I know am bad but I didn't think I was that bad like they played for 3 days and they do better than what I do in 2 months like its just heartbreaking to watch like they do what took me a while in a couple of hours like man... :(
I just changed from Fedora to CachyOS but its kinda painful to learn how to download waywall. Im downloading the AUR Packages and running makepkg -si or whatever (idk if thats right thing) after that i just dont understand what to do i cant find the waywall file or like i dont even know how to download it properly. So if anyone has a knowledge about this, please help me. I'd appreciate it a lot..
So my friends and i have decided to start speedrunning for fun, and we are doing in the version 26.2, our fastest run was 1 hr and 33 minutes. The most time spent is usually the nether where after finding the nether fortress it takes a long time to acutally find a warp forest to get pearls, which takes and long time , is there a better way or a speedrunning guide for newer versions like 26.2?

This is a pretty easy and fast to setup portal break, the 8 jump portal break is faster but if you're having trouble with hitting the timing consistently this could be a good alternative. Especially fast on ocean blinds because you usually are already building up with gravel to measure. The way this works is pretty similar to the traditional portal break it's just you're using the mining and falling of gravel to time the 4 second window rather than the jumps. Make sure that you're not sprinting, you're holding right click after you start mining the final block, and that you don't have soul speed as that will mess up the timing on the soul sand.

I've had it happen 3 times today where I pie ray and bring my rd up to 32 just to find no spawner for the fortress. Is there a technique with quadrants or coords to still find the fortress?
I have been into mcsr for about 4 months now. I learned bastions routes and the basics ages ago and have been actually playing the game for about 3 months now. Unfortunately I do not have enough uninterrupted time to play Ranked daily and i can only queue a couple times per week, but i do spend a lot of time practicing or playing zsg solo.
But i find myself stuck and I cannot improve, like my best split times are always the same:
3-5 mins to reach bastion,
8-11 mins to reach fortress,
15-18 min to reach stronghold
low 20 min completion
(all assuming i dont die or reset, my true average is 27 mins)
But i just dont understand how to go faster? I have been using Minipractice kit to practice my splits (mostly fort to finish or bastion to finish) and improve my times, terrain management, movement, search crafting, sprint crawling, etc.
And I have learned all the major time saves such as boateye, 2x1 portal, halfbow, autofunnel. I have tried to always be doing something in a run so there is no dead time, but that didn't help either. I'm not really sure how to improve from here.
When I see players in the midoffs for example, they start putting up sub 20 times in just a week. I have been playing for months and I just can't seem to figure it out. Is there any obvious thing to improve at or is this just not the game for me
came across this shipwreck while speedruning. I just haven't seen a chest with more unusable loot than this
Here's the video of the route, I want to know your opinion: does it worth it or nah?
Really fast and easy way to get the bullseye advancement, it requires very little materials and it's very useful if you don't have arrows to do it the traditional way.
The way this works is that item frames check for a block every 5s after being placed, so after fishing rodding the item frame to get the bobber in the middle you can place the target block and run away so after 5 seconds the item frame will break giving you the advancement. The timer starts as soon as you place the item frame so the timing is a little tight but it's not too bad. The fishing rod line does break after 32 blocks so ideally you want to do this on a chunk border and then stop right before crossing the second chunk border so you can go more than 30 blocks but less than 32.

Well, my mcsr profile is crafterrr2022, and im gold 1 with peak elo 996. I have been recently playing a lot of private rooms with friends or other people and casual, and my times range from 18 mins to 14 mins. But whenever i queue ranked, i get nervous that ill loose and loose elo, so i make mistakes and die all the time, loosing many matches. I don't know what happens but i somewhere read that this is called "ranked preassure". Anywhone with simillar experience please help me out.
So, at the ripe unc age of 36, I just got the itch enough tonight that I decided screw it, let's give it a go. I kinda intentionally didn't look up any guides or strats or anything like that, all I have for reference is years of watching couriway / Feinberg. I just wanted to see how far I'd get. I craft like a grandmother with no hands, I tried to play it safe and go for the 1 cycle but messed that up and had to resort to using my sword for 50% of her HP. We're not gonna call it a speed run because 01:18:10 is by no means speed, I am just proud of myself for completing the run and wanted to share it with someone, and unfortunately there's no one in my life that would care. Thanks for reading! GLHF
like when i go to bed and close my eyes to sleep, i find myself very vividly zero cycling in my head. i can feel the visceral muscle memory of the way my pov moves during a zero cycle and i feel like im just practising in my sleep. i daydream about zero cycling. idk i was just reading about the tetris effect on wikipedia and it reminded me of how much mcsr in etched into my mind.
I have been trying to learn butterfly clicking because I think I lack cps when building blind portals but whenever I try to butterfly click I just do it in the wrong rhythm
My finger hits before the other finger rises every single time
I cant quit it even tho I tried getting right rhythm slowly but whenever I try to make the correct rhythm faster I just go right back at where I started maybe i got that muscle memory back in the bedwars times but Im not sure at all
choked my 13 min eye spy record rsg. ik the first bed wasnt the best but i mean i usually do the first bed bad, then time the other beds really well. the issue here is the second bed got placed up into the fking obsidian. idk how did that happen
I like to play with music on for moments like this
For example 1.2.4, are there any leaderboards for it?
I was watching gradients gray new video and noticed that the acacia tree on the portal caused the dragon to die earlier (less rotations).
Obviously its practically useless for your average runner but for top runners if they manage to get a sapling (likely through a hoe very early on or when measuring eyes), and get bonemeal from wither skeletons isn't it possible to force portal open when your neck to neck with someone?
basically pearling down immediately after zero cycling and growing a tree.
its definitely not consistent and could seem like a meme move if someone really good did it but it could work
