Wan 3.0 vs MiniMax H3 vs Seedance 2.0: same prompt, very different results

i ran the exact same prompt and scene through Wan 3.0, MiniMax H3, and Seedance 2.0 just to see how differently they would interpret it.

Same story. Same setup. Same prompt. But the results were surprisingly different.

what I found interesting is that there wasn't really one model that won everything. it really shows how differently current video models interpret the exact same instructions.

Wan 3.0 vs MiniMax H3 vs Seedance 2.0 — which one would you pick?

Tried making a fashion promo video with MiniMax H3 and this came out pretty cool.

I’ve been looking through some examples people are making overseas, found one I really liked, and tried recreating the vibe. Generated it in 1080p with T2V with MiniMax H3.

most of the video actually looked pretty good, but the Japanese completely fell apart near the end lol. Definitely need to tweak the prompt more. that said, I don’t think it’s a huge issue since I could just generate the voice with an external TTS tool and add it afterward.

also curious to try this with R2V + a reference image. Feels like this format could work really well with your own characters, models, or specific fashion styles.

one thing I noticed: 1080p takes longer, but the difference is pretty obvious. Small details break way less and the whole thing looks cleaner compared with lower-res generations.

I’ve also seen people generating at lower resolution first and then upscaling, so I want to test that workflow too and see whether it’s actually more efficient.

MiniMax H3 is getting pretty interesting for this kind of fashion/ad content.

Outfit morphing carried one body through five looks with zero cuts with MiniMax H3

i’ve been testing that continuous-morph format on different subjects, and this time I wanted to see if it could handle a full human outfit transformation.

the setup was pretty simple: one beautiful girl, standing front-facing in the center of the frame, going through five outfits in a single 10-second shot:

Homewear → office wear → athletic set → black evening gown → silver futuristic fashion.

There are no cuts between them. the output still holds a little "AI smooth", but it can get my idea soonly and comprehensively.

i ran it with MiniMax H3 on Atlas Cloud, and the result was cleaner than I expected.

What interested me most is how usable this format could be for fashion content (honestly, i think fashion creators could run with this directly.)

curious what else you’d put through this kind of one-shot transformation.

A new Seedance 2.5 collaboration with Michael Owen brings his career-defining moments back to life, a preview of what the model is built to do

A new collaboration built on Seedance 2.5 is working with Michael Owen to revisit some of the defining moments of his career, the signature moves, the goals, the instincts that made him one of the most recognizable strikers of his generation. From those moments on the pitch to what else becomes possible once a model can work with a real career instead of a single clip, it's built around unlocking what used to be impossible.

It's also a good preview of where Seedance 2.5 is headed more broadly, and the direction is a real jump forward. Original generations are set to run up to 30 seconds, the longest single generation the line has offered so far, enough room to hold an actual narrative arc instead of a quick clip. It's also shaping up to be the first video model in the lineup released at 720p resolution, a real step up in fidelity for a line that keeps pushing further with each release.

Character consistency is getting a real push too, holding the same face and identity recognizable across an entire sequence of different moments instead of drifting scene to scene, which is exactly what a piece built around one real person's career actually demands. On top of that, the generations are shaping up to be more editable after the fact, adjusting a shot without having to regenerate the whole sequence from scratch.

Classic moments, now within reach, and just an early look at what the model can do once it's treating an entire career as material to work with.

Driving Blender with an MCP so Claude blocks the shot, then a video model renders it

The thing that always frustrated me with AI video is you get no real camera control. You prompt a move and hope, and half the time it cuts on its own or picks a different angle. So I started doing the boring part in Blender and only handing the render off to AI.

The setup is a Blender MCP, which lets Claude drive Blender directly. I describe the shot and it builds a rough 3D blockout: the geometry, the camera path, the composition, all exact because it is real 3D and not a guess. Then I take that gray blockout render and feed it to a video model as the first frame, and let the model turn it into a finished, lit, moving shot. You keep the control of a real camera and still get the AI look.

The render step is where the model choice shows. The same blockout through Seedance 2.5 and MiniMax H3 comes out different: Seedance holds the camera intent tighter, H3 is stronger on light and human motion, and H3 runs cheaper and at 2K where Seedance stops at 720p. Fair warning, a lot of the comparisons going around used prompts tuned for one model first, so take single clips with a grain of salt.

Blender MCP link and the two models are in a comment. The workflow is not original to me, credit to the creators pushing it.
