Herbie 53 beetle karross

Hej! Någon som vet om den här karossen till mini-z monster/overland är värt något särskilt? Hittar inte någon annan likadan så vet inte om den är ovanlig? Tror den är fabriks målad men inte 100% säker.

Display Diorama

I've been searching high and low for something unique to display my cars, bodies, and models. I think I finally found it. We all see those aliexpress garages, stackable and lexan covers make them ideal for model storage.

But they lack that detail and often just deptic a parking area.

I found these files on Makerworld, if you follow the links to his patreon you will find free files to expand the model base. It's listed as a 1/18 Modular Garage Diorama. Everything dovetails together for the most part and can be rearranged. It even breaks down to the basic parts so you don't have to kill valuable space when not in use.

I've just started printing the main elects and will be painting some type of garage theme.

2500 Gx28

Short clip from a practice session. 2nd outing with the car, not my home track, but the car was solid. A few parts will fix that

Mini-Z rolled tracks?

Hello everyone!

Has anyone here bought one of these foldable Mini-Z drift tracks that are all over AliExpress and similar sites?

They seem to be relatively inexpensive, and I really like the idea. From what I understand, they can be rolled up into a tube for storage, and when you want to use them, you just unroll them on the floor (or even under a rug to keep them flat) and instantly have a ready-to-drive drift track.

It sounds like a great solution for someone who doesn’t have a permanent space for a Mini-Z layout.

If you’ve bought one, I’d love to hear your experience:

* Is the print quality good?

* Does it stay flat on the floor?

* Is the material durable?

* Is it actually fun to drive on?

* Overall, do you think it’s worth the money?

Thanks in advance! I’d really appreciate any feedback before ordering one.

awd house track car

I don’t wanna race on a prepped surface, i have a hardwood floored house and i plan to make the fasted awd mini Z track car. i bought the Ra-45 Subaru. i put grip tires on it and it seems fine. it’s steering angle however is genuinely awkward and makes tight turns very very hard. what should i do? Buy a rwd and start there or build this awd into a hardwood car. but how what upgrades can i do? and i apologize i am new to all of this :)

Help fixing my mini z

Hi everyone, it’s been a month, and I’m still having trouble fixing it, and I’m starting to feel like giving up 😔. I’m not sure what’s going on or how to fix it. The wheel just pops out over any small bump, and those metal things are loose.

Reflex gx28

Well had the first day out with reflex. Pretty solid out of the box! Going to order some springs, weight, and a different central dampener. Contemplating putting the gen3 front end on the car, but that’s after more testing with the k2 front end.

1/24 Fujimi FD3S RE:Amemiya for MA030 Evo 2. Will it work?

I really love the FD, especially in the RE:Amemiya body kit, since Kyosho doesn't have anything of the sort available, will this model kit work? I do understand I'll need to procure some parts here and there like the side and front clips. But I just wanna know if it's possible

Have had micro T, Micro B but never a Mini Z

Before buying one I was just wondering how well they compare to other smaller rc’s. I’m not wanting a basher, I’m long to get into Mini Z’s and possibly start taking them to my local track. Are they really as fun as they look? Is there lots of aftermarket parts?

New expert class car

Introducing car number 666. the “Satanic Panic” AMG

New to the hobby but have been having so much fun. Picked up a MM chassis and wanted to make it my “expert class” car. Wife did all the body work and I couldn’t be more excited to race it.

Nothing crazy under the hood yet. Just suspension adjustments.

If I can get 11 second flat at my local course I’ll be happy.

Car comes in around 175g. But the body is 3g lighter than the stock body somehow.

Just need to figure out how to shoot flames out the exhaust.

New to 1:28 RC cars (coming from helis)

Pic is what ive got so far before I start building. I’ve always wanted to build a 1:28 scale RC car and I think I finally have (or maybe have?) everything I need to get started. im mostly into RC helicopters, but I’ve always had a soft spot for a nice 1:28 micro car. any tips or suggestions?

I also picked up an optivisor since my eyesight isnt the best, so that should help a lot with the build since how tiny these parts are.... I mostly fly RC helis, you can check some of that out on my youTube channel if you like https://www.youtube.com/@PZT-q2w . I own a sab fireball 280 with triple head conversion, so im not totally new to building stuff, but this seems pretty extensive for an rc car, or im over thinking it?

For the motor and ESC, I’m looking at this setup: https://www.amazon.com/EZRUN-Mini28-MINI28-1626SD-6500KV/dp/B0CLBS7HYV?th=1

Another question I had is about bodies,I was looking at the Kyosho Auto Scale Collection, mainly the 98mm bodies. As long as I stick to that wheelbase, am I good, or will I still need to do some modifications, what other wheelbase can i get away with without looking weird?>

Last thing, how does the new Team Associated RC28R stack up against something like a BZ Masters? I used to have a unassembled BZ5 kit and ended up selling it, and honestly I felt sick to my stomach getting rid of it, but Im not making that mistake again. This time I’m planning to actually build it and run it properly, setting aside time, hopefully by october lol.

Got my Mini Z, now for the body

I got my mini Z and its accompanying stuff, the body I got is the unassembled one, is it ok to use plastic cement to mount the side clips or should I just use super glue?

Going into Mini-Z cars. Already have a radio. Need some enlightenment

Hi everyone!

I’ve been into RC cars for a while and currently own an Arrma Typhon 6S TLR, which I absolutely love. It’s an amazing car, but I’d like to get something much smaller that I can use indoors, especially on rainy days. Pretty much bashing indoors 😅

Naturally, the Kyosho Mini-Z lineup seems like the obvious choice, but honestly… I’m completely lost. There are so many different models and versions that I don’t even know where to start.

One important thing: I already own a Futaba T6PV radio, and I’d really like to use it if possible. I don’t want to start collecting multiple transmitters if I can avoid it.

I’m not looking for extreme speed or racing. I just want something that’s genuinely fun to drive around the house - living room, hallways, bedrooms, etc. From what I’ve seen, I really like the Mini-Z Inferno, but the Mini-Z drift cars also look like a lot of fun.

In the short to medium term, my plan is to buy one for myself and eventually get two more for my kids (7 and 12 years old), so we’ll be able to drive together indoors.

So, what would you recommend?

- Mini-Z Inferno?
- Mini-Z AWD Drift?
- Something else entirely?

Which platform do you think is the most fun for casual indoor driving? I’m much more interested in having fun than in competition.

In case I go the drift way a small RCP track is a must.

Thanks a lot for any advice!

Might be getting my first Mini-Z soon, need a little help

So, there's a chance I'll be getting my first Mini-Z car soon, really good deal on a MA030 Evo 2 with a body, but a receiver is not included. Not to worry, I've got some saved; a

DumboRC X6PM-350 RC 2.4Ghz Transmitter + P6DCG 6CH Receiver

Or

Fly Sky FS-GT2B 3 Channel RC Transmitter with a FS-3RGE receiver.

What would be the recommendation among the two?
