Why do mini dachshunds act like tiny emotional detectives? 😂

Mine can be completely relaxed and minding his own business… but the SECOND my mood changes, somehow he knows 😭

If I’m stressed? suddenly attached to my side.
If I’m sad? tiny warm body pressed against my leg.
If I get up too fast? immediate investigation follows.

Sometimes I honestly feel like mini dachshunds spend 90% of their lives monitoring our emotional condition instead of just being normal dogs 😂

And the dramatic staring?
The deep sighs?
The “you moved without telling me” energy?

I swear these tiny dogs somehow read the room better than some humans do.

Does anyone else’s mini do this or is mine just an emotionally overqualified little sausage? 🐾

Grapes are Bad!

After only 1/2 a grape this baby girl was so sick! My husband didn't know grapes were a no no. Poor baby had diarrhea and vomiting. By the time I realized that she had eaten grape, it was already starting to digest and upset her tummy. There was no going to the vet but simply praying, crossing your fingers and hoping for the best. She pulled through after 24 hours. She's doing much better. Still a little bit slow and tired, but much better.

Mini Dachshund / Flying

Hello everyone!
I'm gonna get mini Dachshund puppy soon. Which Im soooo excited about! I've always had dogs growing up, they are a big part of my life. That being said, I have moved away from my home country. I live in Canada, I am originally from Greece. So, I go once a year to visit my family. My question is, can I fly with my mini female Dachshund in the cabin? Its a long way. I have to change 3 planes to get there, and Im kinda freaking out reading all these stuff only. I don't wanna put my dog in the cargo.. I usually fly with Air Canada or Lufthansa. I have read all the policies and stuff, but realistically i do not know how big the puppy will get or how strict they really are. Could anyone share their experience? Or any times i should know? Thank you in advance!
