It's been a while since I made any update on Patreon, in all honesty I was super unfamiliar with the platform at the time and was neglecting it a lot. But during my hiatus I had a lot of time to think about what I want it to be like and how I can support myself without locking everything behind a paywall.

Which brings us to the difficult topic...

BONUS PANELS

I decided that having one extra panel for most episodes would be a fair. They aren't required to get the joke or anything, just little titbits, sometimes they add to the punchline, sometimes they don't.

So yeah, most future episodes will have the second image shown in this post of me shamelessly shilling my Patreon!

Occasionally, there will be bonus episodes as well! These are more experimental than the normal episodes.

Changes made:

Most people probably can't even tell what I changed during the revamp, since not a lot visit it, but I'm gonna log them anyway.

-Took away one membership option to simplify things.

-Reduced the price for most memberships, the lowest one is now $2.

-Stopped producing speedpaints, since they aren't that interesting to look at anyway.

-Added 3 new perks, bonus panel, bonus episode and discord role (which will let you access an exclusive channel where I post behind-the-scenes).

-Made some sickass new banners.

Oh right, all tiers let you access new episodes a week early, and it's currently a week before I come back from hiatus, so for 2 dollars you can see the episode right now and the bonus content!!!

20 days until the mintchan comic officially come back! And I, honestly haven't done much progress on it. There are a couple episodes I have drawn and I got a lot of ideas, but life's been hard. If anyone bother to read the body text of my hiatus announcement post you'll learn about my depression and how I've been so busy. And ever since the day I made that post nothing has really changed, still busy, still stressed.

I've just been in a constant state of worry, I know it will get better but it's been like this for 2 months. I guess my mental state is affecting my plants as well as Tominto-chan is like, 75% dead. I don't know why, I tried my best with her but it's like she's giving up. Sometimes I wonder if there's just something fundamentally wrong with her genes, after all she didn't come from a seed packet, but a stray seed stuck in a bag of soil. Tominto-chan is 10 months old and haven't bloomed once, let alone bear fruit. And I'm too tired to try any of the more advanced solutions, I just water her and wish for the best.

I don't know what I'm making this post for, if it's to complain then I got a lot to complain. I wish I get a summer vacation, I wish I wasn't poor, I wish I have more willpower to push through. Okay, that's enough.

I'm not all doom and gloom, I know the bad time will pass, but until then I'm just trying to survive. Just gotta sit through the storm. And hey, I'm very excited to show you guys the new episodes once my hiatus is done.

To not make this post entirely pointless, I'm gonna ask y'all for suggestions on how to keep the community active, since without the comic there isn't much to discuss, huh.
