QC B40 sangles

Hi experts 💙 my PSPs for the B40 Bleu Nuit from Mark have been sent today, but with my previous palladium hardware bags from him I’ve never seen the back of the sangles a different colour. I checked online at resale bags and it looks like they should be silver/palladium too, but when I asked Mark he says they are brass. Is this correct?

Bag number 2 arrived B30 HSS Chai with Rose Sakura

Loved my B35 Fauve Barenia Faubourg so much but I wanted a slightly smaller bag for days out where I don't need my laptop.

Barenia is still my fave leather - just love the smell - but I am happy with this chai in togo leather with rose sakura lining B30.

Its very me!

Looking for reliable seller for Hac a Dos

Hey everyone,

I’m currently looking to buy a Hac a Dos and I was wondering what a realistic budget is for a solid piece. I’m aiming for around $400, but I’m not sure if that’s reasonable for good quality or if I should be spending more.

I’ve seen people mention Felix as a reliable seller, but I haven’t been able to find clear info on how to access their listings.

If anyone can share:

Whether ~$400 is a good budget for this bag
General advice on what to look for in terms of quality
Trusted seller names that are commonly known in the community
I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance 🙏

H Kelly depeches 25 Etoupe „Men"

Hi everyone!
I ordered a HERMÈS Kelly Dépêches 25 in Etoupe from Mark. The bag costs $800, and I've paid half of the amount so far. Today I received my PSP/QC photos via WhatsApp.
l'd really appreciate your help. I've wanted this bag for a long time, and this is my first time buying a high-quality replica bag.
Could you please take a look at the photos and let me know if you think I should give Mark the GL?
I'd be very grateful for any feedback. Thank you!

Kelly 32 just in

Received this beauty today!

Kelly 32 etoupe palladium

Ordered from mark on 5/18

PSP 6/15

Arrived 6/29

Transaction was smooth and mark addressed some stitching on the strap during psp

Positives: overall it looks amazing! I think he did a great job selecting the veining. Overall the bag looks really good and I’d say passable.

Negatives: the price! I paid $1450 and I think that my expectations were very high because of it. I think the pearling is a little ‘messy’ for lack of a better term, my mid tier bags from other sellers do not have this issue; the strap feels thin compared to the strap on my Steven Kelly; there is a sliver of leather peeking through the cutout ( you can see this in the last pic); the interior leather isn’t as soft and lastly I got the dreaded 162 lock. Again for the price I guess I expected upgraded hardware (my bad as I didn’t specify this to him)

None of this will keep me from enjoying this beautiful bag and I realize I may be nitpicking but I just wanted to share my honest thoughts.

I appreciate Mark he showed me the leather before he cut it to make sure I liked the veining and he works fast, I enjoyed seeing some videos of the work in progress

Please let me know what you think of my bag, I enjoy the feedback.

What is everyone's dream bag? Reposted with photo

I am so in love with this bag - she fits loads in and doubled as my hospital bag for a day surgery this weekend.

The barenia fauve leather smells gorgeous and I get lots of compliments on her whenever I take her out - definitely getting lots of use. Loving that my dream bag is living up to the reality 🥰

I did cave and ordered a Picotin and a B30 as well and they should be here soon. I've been spending too much on different twilly sets and leather handbag charms 🙈

What is everyone else's dream rep and did they live up to the dream when they arrived?

[REVIEW] Arli K28 | Gris Perle Togo | $750

[REVIEW] Arli K28 | Gris Perle Togo | $750

Disclosure

Before I get into the review, I want to be transparent.

I purchased this bag at a discounted price in exchange for providing an honest review. This is the first time I've ever accepted a discount from a seller in exchange for writing a review, so I wanted to disclose it upfront. Everything below reflects my genuine opinion, and I wouldn't spend the time writing this if I didn't honestly feel this way about the bag.

Order Information

For anyone curious, here's exactly what I ordered:

  • Seller: Arli
  • Price: $750 USD
  • Exterior: Imported Gris Perle Togo
  • Interior: Domestic chèvre lining
  • Construction: Partial machine construction with hand stitching
  • Hardware: Stainless steel, hand engraved

First Impressions

I'll be honest, I wasn't really sure what to expect.

I also want to say that I generally avoid using terms like high-tier, mid-tier, and low-tier. I think those labels are incredibly subjective because everyone values different aspects of a bag. Some people care most about leather, others about construction, hardware, stamping, proportions, or finishing. There isn't one universal definition.

That being said, I typically buy from sellers that many people within the community would consider among the highest tier available.

I actually owned another K28 before this one, but I wasn't completely happy with the special-order color combination I chose. A few months later, I decided to replace it with this Gris Perle.

Now onto the bag.

The very first thing I noticed was the leather.

Right out of the box, the slouch is beautiful. It's exactly how I like a Kelly to sit. The grain sits right in that sweet spot. It's not overly pebbled, but it's not so fine that it looks flat either.

I also requested minimal veining, because that's always been my personal preference, and Arli absolutely delivered.

The leather has this soft, matte, almost powdery finish that immediately stood out to me. It feels plush without feeling floppy, and the leather selection itself is honestly excellent.

Now, I don't want this review to become about what I paid versus what someone else may pay.

What I will say is this.

For $750, Arli delivered an imported Togo K28 that honestly exceeded every expectation I had going into this purchase.

I wasn't expecting leather from a specific European tannery, nor should I at this price point. But what I received feels substantial, luxurious, and incredibly well selected.

Construction

One thing I really appreciated was Arli's transparency.

He never represented this as something it isn't. From the beginning, he identified this as a mid-priced offering and told me the construction was partially machine stitched.

Personally, I actually prefer that.

The more I've learned about authentic H construction, the more I've realized that's simply how these bags are built. Authentic H bags use both machine and hand processes, so seeing machine stitching where it should be used actually feels more authentic to me than insisting every stitch be done entirely by hand.

Even when I'm ordering from sellers that many people consider among the highest tier, I've found myself preferring builds that incorporate machine stitching where appropriate. For me, it's no longer about chasing "100% handmade." It's about replicating authentic construction methods as closely as possible.

Looking over this bag, I think Arli accomplished exactly that.

The exterior hand stitching has that beautiful angled appearance you'd expect to see.

Then you get to the sangles.

On the front, you have those angled hand stitches. Flip them over and you'll find the straight stitching on the back, exactly like I'd expect to see.

Those are the little construction details I pay attention to, and Arli got them right.

Edge Paint

The edge paint was something I was genuinely excited to inspect.

One of the reasons I chose Gris Perle was because of the lighter brown edge paint.

Bags made with darker colored Togo, or darker leathers in general, can hide imperfections much more easily. If the edge paint isn't perfectly clean or the finishing is a little sloppy, it tends to blend into the darker leather and isn't nearly as noticeable.

With a lighter leather like Gris Perle and the lighter brown edge paint that H uses, there's really nowhere to hide. If the edge paint isn't applied well, if the color match is off, or if the finishing isn't clean, you'll notice it almost immediately.

Thankfully, that wasn't the case here.

The edge paint is beautiful. Every edge is crisp, the color match is excellent, and the overall finishing looks incredibly refined. I found myself turning the bag over again and again because I couldn't find an area that looked rushed or inconsistent.

It's one of those details that doesn't get talked about enough, but it's something I always inspect because it tells you a lot about the overall finishing of the bag.

The Handle

Another thing I absolutely love is the handle.

Kelly handles can vary tremendously between sellers.

Personally, I don't like a handle that's too pointed, and I don't like one that's a perfect half-circle either.

I've always preferred a softer, more natural arch that's proportional to the size of the bag.

That's exactly what Arli delivered.

The handle has a beautiful, balanced curve. It isn't too round, it isn't too pointed. It just looks right.

Honestly, it's exactly what I pictured in my head when I placed the order.

Inside the Bag

The interior was probably the biggest surprise for me.

Since many of my more recent bags have imported chèvre interiors, the first thing I did was grab another bag from my collection so I could compare them side by side.

I expected the difference to be obvious. It wasn't.

The domestic chèvre on this bag feels incredibly good.

It's soft, smooth, and substantial in hand. If someone handed me this bag without telling me what the interior was made from, I honestly don't think I would've questioned it.

The only real difference I noticed was the center spine that imported chèvre often has running from the front of the base to the back.

On this bag, that ridge is much more subtle.

But honestly, unless someone is sticking their entire head inside your bag to inspect the bottom of the interior, I don't think anyone would ever notice.

The leather itself feels excellent.

This actually changed my expectations of domestic chèvre because I assumed the difference between domestic and imported lining would be much more obvious than it actually is.

I also think it's important to keep the price in perspective.

This isn't a $2,000 build. It isn't even a $1,000 build.

It's a $750 K28.

I knew exactly where this bag sat in the market before I ordered it.

What surprised me wasn't that Arli met my expectations.

It was that every time I moved on to inspect another area of the bag, I kept expecting to finally find the compromise that made me think, "Okay, here's where the price shows."

Honestly, that moment never really came.

Hardware & Foil

The hardware deserves a quick mention.

It's stainless steel with hand engraving, and if I'm being completely honest, I really can't tell a meaningful difference in hand compared to bags I own that cost considerably more.

I've also included photos of the lock and keys because I know there's been discussion recently surrounding lock numbers, specifically combinations like 162.

Speaking personally, after owning bags from sellers like XM, Mark, AF, and several others, I've honestly never once looked at the number stamped on my lock.

It's simply never been something I've judged a bag by.

The foil stamp, however, absolutely deserves its own section.

This was probably one of the biggest surprises on the entire bag.

The foil is beautifully applied.

It sits on top of the leather exactly the way I like to see it. It isn't pressed deeply into the leather. It's bright, reflective, and the lettering is incredibly crisp.

Even better, there's zero puckering around the stamp.

That's something I always look for because it's surprisingly common to see, even on bags costing significantly more.

For Arli to execute the foil this cleanly on a Gris Perle bag genuinely impressed me. Lighter colors are much less forgiving, and every little imperfection tends to stand out.

I've owned bags from sellers charging two and three times this price that didn't execute their foil as cleanly.

Final Thoughts (So Far)

Looking back over everything I've inspected so far, I kept waiting for the moment where I'd think, "Okay, here's where the compromises start."

I honestly never had that moment.

That doesn't mean this bag is trying to be a fully upgraded $2,000 build, because it isn't.

It's a thoughtfully built $750 K28 that focuses on getting the fundamentals right.

After spending years buying bags from sellers at the higher end of the market, I can honestly say this one challenged a lot of my own assumptions about what to expect at this price point.

More than anything, that's the biggest compliment I can give Arli.

I'll continue updating this review if anything changes with wear over time, but as a first impression, I walked away genuinely impressed.

Hermes Kelly 25 Retourne in Black Togo from Frank

K25 Togo Noir PHW

Factory+Price:

Frank has his own factory. 1250$ incl. shipping.

PSPs:

Payment method: Alipay

Timeline: ~3 weeks making + shipping 1 week to the EU.

Thoughts on the seller

Seller 10/10 This Kelly is my seventh (or eighth depending on how you count) order with Frank. I have a beautiful Rose Mexico Kelly 25 that I’ve got from him one year ago. It is my most practical Hermes bag, but there are outfits that cannot accommodate a pink bag. So I’ve decided to take a classic black too.

I actually paired this order with a Rose Sakura B25. Frank was great about logistics, packing them safely into individual orange boxes and shipping them together in one secure master package. His consistency is exactly why I keep returning.

Thoughts on the bag:

Accuracy and quality 10/10

Honestly, nothing can be more classic than a black Kelly. It is the ultimate timeless piece. I specifically opted for the Retourne construction because I love how Togo’s grain adds a gorgeous texture and depth to the deep black shade. Since it's a Retourne, the leather will beautifully slouch and soften with use, giving it that perfect, effortless look. Frank’s attention to detail is incredible like always. The tonal stitching is perfectly even, and the edge paint is absolutely immaculate.

Would you recommend this item to others?

Overall satisfaction: 10/10

Yes, very much so.

PSPs/QC help for Constance 18 Noir in Epsom with RGHW (Frank)

Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a great day.

I have placed order with Frank for a Constance 18 Noir in Epsom leather with Rose gold hardware a month ago and today I finally got the PSPs. He charges $1000 USD for this bag.

I’ve been comparing the PSPs with pictures of the auth I could find online and so far everything looks great, but I would be so so grateful if you and your trained eyes could spot anything that I’ve missed or offer any insights. Thank you so much!

I’ve asked Frank to send me more photos of the back of the flap, screws and video of closing/opening of the bag and am waiting on those.
