Nearly two years have passed since this news piece was published. Charges of second-degree murder without a body are incredibly uncommon. What evidence did the police have against these individuals that gave them the confidence to file murder charges against them in the first place, and what has changed within a year or so to enable those charges be dropped? This case is tragically fascinating in every aspect.

A Surrey family is desperately searching for answers tonight.

29-year-old Francisco Concha Martinez has not been seen or heard from since May 5 — and now his vehicle has been discovered abandoned near Duffey Lake Road, outside Pemberton.

Police say Francisco is:

▪️ 5’5” tall

▪️ Slim build

▪️ Black hair with a partial beard

His grey 2026 Mazda CX30 was located nearly 50 km outside Pemberton, raising growing concern about his safety.

Someone may have seen something.

Even the smallest detail could matter.

Justin Pollari was 14 years old when he disappeared from Hilton Beach on St. Joseph Island on December 7, 2001. He has never been found. He would be 39 years old today.

We are a licensed private investigator working on behalf of Justin’s family, and we are actively investigating this case. New information has recently come to light that we believe can move this investigation forward — but we need your help.

What we know:

On the evening of December 7, 2001, Justin was at the Hilton Beach Community Hall with a group of friends. He was last seen there that night. Earlier that same day, he was seen at a local restaurant called Chez Janine’s in Hilton Beach.

Who we are looking for:
