I personally have a pretty good range of anime I enjoy, but I put my little brother on Mob Psycho due to it's themes of "It's okay to be who you are, you don't need to strive to be special". It's resonated really well with him, but google searches for this topic suggest things like Saiki K and Dan da Dan. Both good, but not quite hitting the self fulfillment vibe that Mob Psycho has.

Maybe I'm reading too far into it, but hoping someone can help :)

I get the anime is a comedy with a few real points to make, but something about it reminds me of One Punch Man, except this takes itself more seriously than that. I just feel like there's something very pointed towards anime it's trying to say that I'm not connecting myself.

I'm barely about to watch episode 7, so maybe it'll become more clear closer to the end.

I just ran home most of the way from my feed meyer and HO MY GOD, IM DYING

After the first half, the only thing keeping my legs going was my autism/ocd wiring and the fact my running steps were on beat with my music. Mob is a god damn TROOPER doing this regularly through sheer will.

Also, just noticed that my legs are in agony now and every small step hurts... we seriously dont give mob enough credit for this...

I'm pretty sure its stated and showed to us that mobs ??? mode is unlimited/limitless power. We also see how mob pressuambly destroys the earth in an instant in Mogami's Fake world so much that just Mob ??? floated in space. We see this instantly as Mob vessel shatters and he enters ??? he just destroys the world.

So Mob??? really could be unverisal+ if he really tried
