Tried to update firmware and… whoops 😬 any tips?

These errors now show whenever I try to open EmuMMC.

I tried to update my firmware, plus hekate and atmosphere.

I followed a handy YouTube tutorial, but it required first updating the SysMMC+CFW and I don’t have one of those set up so I updated the EmuMMC instead using Daybreak and now I’ve broken it 😅

Any advice on how to fix/backtrack would be greatly appreciated!

SOLVED:

Overcame the nosigcheck error by going to the SD card > bootloader > hekate_ipl.ini and deleting the line of text that reads: kip1patch=nosigchk

Overcame the second error by replacing the atmosphere and bootloader folders.

Should I mod a Switch OLED or a Switch Lite?

For context, I have a modded 3DS XL for old DS and emulated games, and also a Switch 2 for new or old Switch games :)

I’ve been looking into modding a Switch OLED or Lite for a bit because game prices are still decently high for Switch 1 games I want to play. Also, the Nintendo Online Expansion has a phenomenal collection of games, but I don’t wanna pay for it, so having another modded Switch for that would be great.

Overall, is it worth getting a Switch modded, and if so, which model would be best?

Modding advice. What to choose.

I'm looking to mod my Nintendo Switch lite and just wanted some opinions on these mods. What's best/worth doing and how easy to come by the parts?

- Full shell swap

- Hall effect joysticks

- Oled screen upgrade

- HDMI mod

I think the Hall effect joysticks are a definite good choice. The Oled I'm not sure if it's worth it and where to buy it as the Super5 seems sold out. I can see on Aliexpress there are some screens but not sure if they are actually Oleds.

Hdmi mod could be worth it also. Shell swap is a definite for me as I have the tortoise and want to go mostly black design.

I would do it all myself. Have some experience and will follow guides to be safe.

So any guidance and opinions would be welcome.

People selling extremely cheap games on fb marketplace

I saw listings a listing of someone selling legends za for $12. I was intrigued and looked at their profile and asked them if they could give me the switch 2 version and said yes. I was skeptical of the listing so i moved on. Later, i find out a friend of mine bought from one of these sellers and got an account with Metroid Prime 4 and mg2 for extremely cheap. Im confused on how these people can sell accounts with switch 2 games without the console being able to mod it. Does anyone know how they do it?
