The Evolution of the RACS

The RACS has transcended its origins as a southern royal army reliant on obsolete American hardware. It is now a formidable, battle-hardened multinational force. To stabilize volatile regions and preemptively de-escalate conflicts, the monarchy has established a Multinational Expeditionary Corps under RACS command.

This corps integrates volunteers and private contractors from numerous allied and partner nations.

• Tactical Preparation (Starting Arsenal): A temporary weapons-only arsenal crate is deployed at your starting vehicle. Grab your preferred gear within 20 minutes before it self-destructs (with a red smoke signal). Your starting vehicle will automatically adapt its cargo to match your new weapon calibers (adding extra magazines).
• Close Air Support (CAS): A UH-60L Black Hawk is on station. Paint the target, and they will handle enemy contacts (Cooldown: 5 minutes).
• MQ-9 Reaper Reconnaissance: Deploy our drone to mark targets and obliterate enemy armor with guided munitions. It engages vehicles, not infantry, then returns to base (RTB).
• Smart Logistics (Resupply): Request an airdrop. The logistics system will scan your weapons and adapt the dropped ammo based on your calibers. Your AI will rearm themselves (action to be performed in front of the ammo crate).
• Mobility & Extraction: Need to move fast? Request a Land Rover MG airdrop. Things getting too hot? Call in airborne reinforcements or request an emergency extraction (MISSION END).

Hola, soy nuevo en esto de reddit y quiza no haya elegido la red social correcta (no uso redes sociales) pero me parecio la indicada para compartir el progreso de un gran proyecto vacacional que se llama: Ps6400-inspiron. Va a ser un hardmod (creo que se dice asi) a una ps4 cambiandola por completo de carcasa a la carcasa de una dell inspiron 6400 con refrigeracion liquida interna. Ire subiendo poco a poco mi progreso en este proyecto y aunque 2 o 3 personas lo vean es una forma (digo yo) de dejar la huella en internet del proyecto no? inmortalizarlo...

Bueno ayer empece con todo y adelante un par de cositas e hice un par de "esquemas" para visualizar mejor el proyecto pero empezare explicando mi idea (o lo que funciona en mi cabeza):

Introducir una ps4 en la carcasa de una dell inspiron 6400 integrando un sistema de refrigeracion liquida interna lo suficientemente efectiva como para mantener el sistema a bajas temperaturas por largos tiempos de uso, cambiando los heat pipes y el bloque de aletas de aluminio por una placa de cobre no muy gruesa con un bloque apu personalizado estilo slim por donde pasaria liquido refrigerante. Utilizando como radiador el radiador de aceite de la grand cherokee del 95/01 debido a su gran tamaño a lo ancho y su poco grosor cabiendo perfectamente en la carcasa (segun yo pq todavia no lo tengo). Uno de los puntos debiles de esta carcasa es su pantalla ya que esta es una 15.4 en vez de las 15.6 (la diferencia es que la 15.4 a diferencia de la 15.6 que reproduce a 1920x1080 por ejemplo, esta reproduce 1900x1100 dando una imagen mas cuadrada) y las pantallas de buena calidad 15.4 sin tecnologia CCFL estan disponobles en escasas cantidades en sitios como amazon o ebay (a donde venezuela no ha llegado o mejor dicho no ha regresado) y sus tarjetas controladoras creo que son mas dificiles de encontrar. Asi que tendre que deformar un poco el marco original para poner una pantalla tipo monitor externo sin su carcasa con la tarjeta controladora integrada (asi reduciendo el espacio para poder colocar todo lo que es pantalla en solo la tapa superior).

Si tienen dudas sobre algun detalle del proyecto que no haya mencionado (fuente de la consola, bomba para el sistema de refrigeracion liquida interna...) solo pregunten que yo les contesto la duda. Casi todo esta friamente calculado, casi...

Hello, I'm new to Reddit and maybe I didn't choose the right social network (I don't usually use them), but it seemed like the perfect place to share the progress of a huge hobby project called: Ps6400-inspiron. It's going to be a hardmod (I think that's what it's called) for a PS4, completely transplanting it into a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop chassis with internal liquid cooling. I'll be gradually posting my progress here, and even if only 2 or 3 people see it, it's a way (I guess) to leave a mark of the project on the internet, right? To immortalize it...

Well, yesterday I got everything started. I made some progress on a few things and sketched out a couple of "blueprints" to visualize the project better, but I'll start by explaining my idea (or how it works in my head):

Putting a PS4 inside a Dell Inspiron 6400 shell, integrating an internal liquid cooling system effective enough to keep the system at low temperatures during long gaming sessions. I'll be replacing the heat pipes and aluminum fin block with a relatively thin copper plate featuring a custom, slim-style APU block where the coolant will pass through. I plan to use an oil cooler radiator from a 95-01 Grand Cherokee because its wide yet thin profile means it should fit perfectly inside the chassis (at least in theory, because I don't have it yet).

One of the weak points of this laptop shell is its screen, as it's a 15.4" instead of a 15.6". Unlike a 15.6" display (which typically outputs at 1920 × 1080), a 15.4" outputs at 1900 × 1100, giving a squarer image. Good quality, non-CCFL 15.4" screens are scarce on sites like Amazon or eBay (which Venezuela hasn't reached, or rather, hasn't returned to), and their controller boards are probably even harder to find. So, I'll have to slightly modify the original bezel to fit a naked, external monitor-style screen with its integrated controller board (thus reducing space to fit everything screen-related into just the top lid).

If you have any questions about any details of the project I haven't mentioned yet (the console's power supply, the pump for the internal liquid cooling system...), just ask and I'll clear them up. Almost everything is coldly calculated, almost...

P.S. Once the project is 100% finished, I'll launch a website with a step-by-step guide on how to build your own ps6400_inspiron, just in case you want to give it a try!
