National championships

Soo, recently in the Iimun national championship in mumbai, I won the best delegate award in historical criss committee, it was like my 7th or 8th MUN and it was the best one I have ever done. Lowk guys, keep doing MUNs, they are worth it!!

  1. when you research and get 100 pages, only 10 will be useful, but those 10 pages will have everything you need

  2. Dont generate questions for any AI, just listen to the speeches, take up one point you know is structurally weak and/or factually incorrect and just hit them on it.

  3. Speak better not more, in the end, my PO told me that all the scores get averaged out for example if chits are graded out of 1 and you wrote 15 chits and got 0.8 in all of them, you won't get 12, you will get 0.8, so again, qualitative prep, not quantitative.

Ps- Just reach out to me if you want help, I know what it is like to be embarrassed in the 1st MUN and it is my 1st time posting here.

Edit- Never use any online vids for learning how MUNs function cause all of them have a separate ROP(rules of procedure document), just try to find any info from the place where it is organised, preferably a document and then put in any AI to know how the MUN functions.

Another tip- Dont use AI for prep cause it miscites sources and once I lost best del just because of a wrong citation.
