Plastic closure or not?

37 year old here with mohs scheduled for nodular bcc on the back of my scalp near my ear. I had my consult with the surgeon and she mentioned it was about m&m sized and that she can close it or I can have plastics if I prefer. When I asked for her opinion she said it was my choice.

What is the correct choice in this situation?

Adhesive allergy

Has anyone with a tape allergy gotten mohs surgery and had an easy time healing? Is there anything we can use on our face that won't make healing worse? I had a bug bite on my leg 5 years ago that got cellulitis and needed an incision and drainage with a huge dressing. My skin reacted to the adhesive in the bandage and that made the healing process even harder.

Surgery isn't until November 2nd but I wanted to make sure I got everything i needed and told the nurses ahead of time. Thanks!
