Having a great time

I'm relatively new to this. I came across Mono about 2 months ago and it was nothing but error after error, shutdown rumor after rumor. Then it worked one day, didn't work the next.

Well, it's been working for a few days now and I am so glad it is. I enjoy it. I like the UI, the accessibility, I like that I can stream mp3 quality and download in FLAC, I like that it's getting smoother. Through all its bugs and errors, I am willing to wait rather than going back to Spotify.

Just wanted to drop by to say this. Anyone else feeling the same?

No me descarga la música

Hola quiero saber si estoy haciendo algo mal o no entiendo pero me baje la apk de monochrome y no me deja descargar no se si algo puse mal o algo. Alguien que sepa?

Mobile App is here!

yep, finally, after MONTHS, the mobile app is finally finished! it should automatically update with the website so you wont miss out on new features, but also:

  • will be much more stable then the website in a browser or a PWA
  • native media session (ability to control the music directly from your home screen)
  • SOON, play your local library if you dont have any internet!

the app is available for Android & iOS. note for iOS users, you WILL need to sideload it to use. you can find resources to sideload https://fmhy.net/mobile#ios-sideloading here, we will NOT offer support for sideloading though. research yourself for that.
we dont have an apple developer account so sadly we cant upload to testflight.

I think it's time

I think with all of the issues going on with the app I would not mind the bring your own music thing you where talking about. I'm just tired of hoping it works and it never does or it's on and off so that's just my opinion

Monochrome alternatives?

Any advice on how to listen lossless audio via browser without interruptions? Monochrome would be great but after a couple songs it stops and it's a bit annoying.. Spotify via brave beside sucking cause it's streaming at 128k stops at every ads.. Youtube seems to be the only available option.. Am i right? I hope not..

Can't play or download anything (docker)

Selfhosting this on Docker. Set it up months ago to get some music downloaded and left it.

Went back to it today and I can't play or download anything? Is there an issue with Monochrome? I tried recreating the container but it's the same problem.

So I was trying to download something from the android app, but it doesn't work, it says "downloaded", the pop-out doesn't show to let me download just like the site, but is nowhere to be found and don't download anything. Thanks for for your hard work!

Laggy Website (is it just me)

I tried using the website after the recent fixes and still get the "audio player not found message* a couple of times before the music starts playing. I also got a new message that said something about Amazon music player and its kinda annoying. Either way thanks for the developer for taking their time to fix the issues
