I have a FUN60 Pro that works normally in every way, but the RGB doesn’t work on the keyboard. Only the ESC key’s RGB works, and by default it’s red. I can change the ESC’s color in the app and with the keyboard shortcuts, including any RGB-related settings, but the rest of the keyboard’s RGB doesn’t turn on. How can I fix this?
Seriously where is it? Its forever since we had one. What are the folks at monsgeek even doing with the software? Why dont just make it open source so we could whatever we want with it if they arent going to update it.
I've only seen what these switches look like in product images; they aren't included in the promotional video for Akko's U1 series, and no matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find anyone showing them (YouTube, Reddit...).
I recently bought these switches from Monsgeek, and I’ve found that the product doesn’t match the image: it’s missing that sort of “glass” that would diffuse the keyboard’s light.
Example 1: using one of the official Akko media resources, the Akko Crystal Silver U1 switches DO have that glass, and it CAN be seen in multiple different sources (unboxing videos on YouTube, the official ad…).
Example 2: the official Monsgeek page where I bought them, it can be seen the switch with the little glass, but is the same stock image.
Since I didn’t have an actual reference real image of the Piano U1 switches, I’m not sure what’s wrong now:
I was wondering if anyone who has these switches could confirm whether they actually DO NOT have the "glass", even though they’re still being sold as if they do.
Can someone please help me identify the issue with my M1V5 TMR? When I connect the cable, all three modes work perfectly. However, after disconnecting the cable and on dongle and Bluetooth, both lights blink one time (depending in mode), but nothing happens.
As you can see from the photo, I can't change the colors of the K key and the keys after it, and sometimes they flash at me. I cleaned my keyboard, but it didn't fix it. I also did a hard reset, but that didn't work either. Furthermore, even if I set the brightness to zero in the MonsGeek app, it still turns on occasionally. Even if i close the lights theyre still on.
I emailed monsgeek almost 2 weeks ago now with no reply still that was firmware related. I have seen posts with people having 4-5 versions above & below mine saying they are on the latest(no update available through web or desktop).
I may of had one update when I first got mine back in February this year to set up. Mine has been on ID2949_V405 ever since. Mine is the newer 32k scan version m1 v5 tmr. I check once a month to make sure i'm on the latest desktop.
I find it odd how many seem to be on different "latest" firmware versions with the exact same keyboard.
Got a brand new m2 V5 HE with the Akko Astroaim switches.
What is the normal time usage between full charge to empty ?
Ever since I have it its always the same routine;
I charge it Friday night till about noon Saturday, then I use it almost everyday for a solid 5-6h per day.
The next Friday morning the board shows 70-80% battery (Fn+Spacebar shows 1-7) and at night it begs to get plugged or literally run out of battery.
Been like this for a bout 2 months
Important to note;
I use Linux (not sure if important but whatever)
I only use it in wireless mode
I had it at 8khz polling rate (changed it today to test out)
All leds/backlight are turned off since I got it
Are the monsgeek m1 plates ( aluminum, fr4 or POM) coming in stock anytime soon? Does anybody have information? Thanks for any answers!
