So I love G3’s Scary Sweet 1600 line but I didn’t know there was a Clawdeen doll for that line until just recently! She comes with a play-doh cake decorating set which is cute but ultimately takes away from the doll itself. She literally looks so cheap compared to her friends so I decided to experiment with photoshop and make a lil prototype for a restyle I had in mind! Was inspired by another user’s post that brought this hidden opportunity to my attention

Firstly, missed opportunity to lean into the Rococo/cake filigree aesthetic like they did with the others so I tried my best to kinda build off the original outfit using possible materials that already exist in the form of g3 accessories but started making up more pieces after a while. I’m really proud of the idea I had for using the head they designed for the Cozy Creepover line since her hair reminds me of a powdered wig which was perfect for what I was going for! Wanted to erase the freckles tho since I liked the idea of her having some beauty marks instead! It’s not my best work in my opinion design wise, I’d do a lot more than this I think if I were to make her in real life but hopefully this provides a lil inspo for other doll restylists that might wanna give her a go! I don’t have her myself but plan on making my own version at some point!^^

Hi Ghouls and Mansters! Question for those of you who had SSB dolls for a while now. I just got SSB Frankie and thinking of getting SSB Cleo since they are on sale at US Walmart right now. However, I saw some folks mentioning hands discoloring and disintegrating fast as well as skirt cages breaking even when being gentle with them. Has it been your experience? Trying to see if they just had a bad batch or if it’s what I should expect from the line.

I intended to have Frankie OOB and display-only. I still don’t think I’ll be returning Frankie cause the price was so good. But now I wonder if I should keep them in the box and if I should be getting Cleo.
