Cancelled fireworks?
I had read on Facebook fireworks in the area may already be cancelled. Anyone find any official announcement on this?

If you cannot live another day without air conditioning, because it says tomorrow's gonna be hotter, like yesterday...then you should call Sears. I know you said you would call yesterday, but you should call today...not just today, you should call now.
Does anyone know what TV / Movie may be filming over on Gates Ave? I’ve seen them there for a least a week now, was wondering what it is they’re filming
This vantage point is interesting anyone know where it is?
Every year it seems like the number of 4-way stops in town proliferates. I'll leave the efficacy of them to a different post, but I did want to mention the wide variance in driver behavior at a 4-way stop.
It seems unclear to a lot of people whom at the stop has the right-of-way. Depending on arrival time and where you are, right-of-way varies and can be confusing.
I put together a little infographic for how to handle different scenarios. Hopefully this helps demystify how to act.
We are slowly narrowing down our search and need help!
We are a family of 5 moving from Westchester to NJ. Kids are elementary school age and one has an IEP.
We don’t need NYC trains except for the bimonthly or more visits for leisure. I wont be working and my husband’s work home base is in Old Bridge.
Looking for what so many do, a wonderful community, vibrant downtown, good schools, walkable if possible, etc.
I love the idea of Montclair, but how is actually living there? We would be using public schools only-do people stay through high school?
Any feedback? Advice?
For anyone who may live in Montclair, or personally knows someone who does, make sure to apply political pressure to withdraw from Citizens Bank,
We need to turn that may into a will.
There was a temporary no-parking restriction for a small community event, but we honestly didn't see the notice because a large SUV parked in front of us blocked our view. The event itself was small and our car wasn't blocking traffic.
The ticket is payable online, but I also have the option to request a virtual hearing. I called the court, and the clerk said that whether any court costs apply is ultimately up to the judge, although they generally don't see additional court fees for non-moving parking violations.
I'm mainly trying to understand the risk of contesting it. If the judge upholds the ticket, would I typically just pay the original $55, or are court costs commonly added in NJ (or specifically Montclair)?
Also, has anyone had a judge reduce or dismiss a first-time parking ticket under similar circumstances?
Thanks in advance!
I think they’re about to board their bus soon!
There is a little section for fans roped off by the entrance of The MC Hotel, if anyone wants to see the team.

Hi!
New to the area and would love to know your go-to happy hours in the area. So far I saw that MM seems to have a good one but I haven’t tried it yet. Thank you!
