Mac Tonight Monte Carlo
Used AI for the livery, then I cropped some different wheels on it with "tire lettering," blacked out the grille, and made the sidemarkers grey. I think it looks pretty good, I want to do this someday with this gen Monte.
Advice on new purchase.
Yesterday I thought an 03 Monte Carlo, first car purchase I’ve ever made/tried. Bought it from a well respected person and brought my step dad and one of his friends with me to the purchase. I just want to know what kind of suggestions any of you would have for future performance upgrades when I’m finished getting my ford exploder working again.
My 2007 SS Currently under restoration.
This is my 2007 SS. I bought it new and has been my only car since.
I've worked from home for about the past 15 years so most of the usage has been road trips.
Just over 110,000 miles.
This car has been across the contiguous United States and Canada at least twice.
Last year I put in a rebuilt shortblock, no real issues, but oil pump was getting wonky and had some cam rattle.
Now it's running great, so I decided to give it a fresh coat of paint.
Hopefully it will be done in another week or so.
Can't wait to get her back on the road.
Need advice for my 2000 Monte Carlo ss
I have a 2000 Monte Carlo ss with high mileage, I’m aware the engine and transmission will need replacement eventually, but the body is almost entirely rust free so it’s still worth keeping. The 2000 came with a na v6 making 200hp and known to be sketchy transmission. I’m thinking abt putting in the 2004 Monte Carlo engine that’s supercharged on better internals, and I’m wondering if there’s a stronger transmission I can get that’ll be able to handle the power I’m gonna try to get out of that engine. I know the v8s from 06-07 had a similar but stronger transmission, but idk if that’s something that will fit my car, or if maybe there’s a smarter better option. Any opinions?
