I always wait for sales or the prices to start going down but I could not resist her. Willow and Fearidescent Frankie are literally the only dolls I've bought on the spot, in store at full price.

I’m still new at this so it’s a bit sloppy :) I’m going to ask my partner who’s an artist to try and touch it up for me later.

hi! i recently got a carina song doll. shes very pretty but the shoes got mishaped in the packaging (her box was smushed when i got her but nothing else was effected by it so i dont see the need to get a new one) is there a way to like tighten the plastic or something? photo with her other shoe for reference (the one on the left side of the photo is the one that is misshapen)

Besides some boil washing, piercings and shades I wanna add Layla was restyled as soon as she came in monday for me these pants I got from HauntCoutureAtelier on etsy match her jacket to a T! It looks like a matching set that I love a lot!!! A side note i decided an extra hissette is gonna be Laylas Familar but im really not digging the color, I am but like she blends in too much with her design idk how to keep the color pallette coherent without having her blend in with the doll and getting lost in her design if I make Layla carry it

i wish the moonspell girls’ outfits had a bit more of a differentiation in theme, but drawing rae makes me fall in love w her design all over again. pink girls always >>>>

From what I gathered on the general consensus surrounding Rae’s colour palette, we‘ve concluded her colours aren’t it. Do you think Mattel will actually listen to the fans and change her colours to orange, red or yellow?

I understand they were trying to go for the colours of dawn - apparently that’s where Rae draws most of her powers - not to mention, this also makes her “sun“ aesthetic less stereotypical. But it‘s genuinely sad that Mattel believes the more pink they have in their lines, the more customers will enjoy their dolls. Nope, sorry. Not everyone is a Draculaura collector nor do we all love pink. I want to get her but the fact that half of us are buying dye for her hair just to improve her design is wrong. Ditch the pink Mattel!!

What do you think of Rae?

She is my favorite so I made a custom stand for her. It's not perfect but it works. I gave it a thick coat of clear varnish to remove the lines and then I sprayed with metallic purple trying to not cover all the original pink underneath.

The original stand is not my creation, nor are the crystals I used around her feet. I just downloaded them and mixed everything in blender. I'm not a creative person so I need other people,s merits to do anything.

I used to do some semiprofessional work as a photographer but I’ve had to move states away from my photographer/model community and I really miss it. At the same time, I’ve recently embraced using adult money for the dolls I was “too old for/couldn’t afford as a kid” haha.
I want to start getting into photography with my dolls as subjects. While this is something I want to do for myself and my enjoyment, if I share a doll based instagram would people have an interest? These pics are just a quick shot with my phone but I plan to get my real camera and some slight editing involved; maybe bring the dolls out in the real world. Willow and Venus could rock a nature shoot.

The dress is from MagzRockinStyle on Etsy. It’s an RH dress, so it’s a little lose, but I feel like that adds to the witchy vibe.

Recently got Carina for my birthday and wanted to do something fun with her. Definitely the most time i've ever spent bedazzling something lol. Excited to practice it on new projects in the future!

The elusive Layla has finally appeared! I happen to have the perfect cauldron for her! It's a Halloween decoration I found 2 or 3 years ago 🤗

She’s so beautiful! I wanted her to have a more dynamic pose instead of just standing on the shelf, so hopefully the end result is giving the vision in my head. It’s meant to look like she’s quickly bending down to poof some magic into her cauldron!

I used the vine wraps from Venus’s boots as magic coming from her hands and from the cauldron. Trimmed the lace on the front of her shirt so the necklace would look a little better, repainted the belt/shoes/hat details/spellbook trim/cauldron details/hearing aid details.

I braided her hair and did a boil wash and I’m not too happy with how fluffy it looks bc I was hoping for a wavy style that lays kinda flat, but it’s better than box hair. I loooove the shade of green of her hat and cauldron! And I wish you could see her shoes under these long ass pant legs but either way I’m happy with how she turned out (:

Hello! I just wanted to share a silly craft project I did with the packaging from my Claire de Luna box! I save all the packing from dolls and blind boxes and such, organised in a binder so that I can reuse it as decorations or craft projects. I also used celestial stickers from my stationery supplies. I'm pretty happy with the results! If you're a crafty person or have kids that collect dolls and/or blind boxes, I totally recommend saving the packaging for fun projects. If you get some double-sided tape, you can easily turn pictures cut off of packaging into stickers as well! I particularly love doing this with blindboxes, as it's a way to 'collect' characters without spending loads of money buying blind boxes until you get them all.
