My main theory right now is: Jake is Adam and Charlie is the guilty one. Why? Let me breakdown for you:

• In the begging of the Moonvale Game, it seems that Adam is continuing a previous chat with us, he speaks with certainty. It seems that he is speaking on the Tale we found on the previous game, >!where Hannah was actually seeing Ricky with the fantasy.!<
• What took over my mind was the fact that he was using the same sweatshirt Jake was using when entering the cave.
• Yeah, I know, we saw a ripped sweatshirt in the beginning while they were showing us videis of the Duskwood rescue. But this could be simply to evade the police.
• What made me suspicious was the way Charlie investigates things. For a "reporter", he doesn't dig deep enough for me, always mentioning that he can't or didn't find anything.
• Also, when Eric was in the forest, he got there very fast...making me wonder why he wasn't there before. He didn't need our permission...
• Something that bothers me a lot is how they all previously visited and camped in the same forest Eric is (please see every caracter feed/ the gps map tracking the lake), but at the same time, they all claim they a scared and don't now ho to navigate there.
• If you pay attention to the story posted, you will see that someone motioned Greenside having a window turned to the forest without curtains. Ash mentioned being there before and in their feed shows exactly this window facing the forest.
• Episode 3 is what set me off (spoilers ahead!): >!When Charlie goes inside the hotel room and doesn't find anything at all, that stroke me as odd. When he mentions the room being totally clean, that made me more suspicious. But, when he mentioned Ash calling him and him not going offline, or them going online at all, that made me almost certain. He probably was using a second phone as the unknown.!<
• >!I feel that the description we gave to him, was for him to perceive what do we know. This unknown appearing as well in the forest to save Eric, and indeed saving him (if we follow my lead on how unknown is Charlie), was enough to set the deal for me.!<
• >!I hope I am being wrong because that would be the second time the second lead is the villain.!<

This happens a lot in Episode 3, we’re in the middle of the investigation when, suddenly! a notification. Charlie changed his profile picture, Violet posted a photo, and so on.

It just seems so strange to me.... who goes around messing with things like that after spending the whole night wide awake looking for a missing friend? It feels so... out of place, you know?
