I am considering purchasing a home that sits on Brawley School Rd. The driveway exits onto Brawley School Rd. The home has a large front yard, so there is space between the road and front of the house. I am wondering how big a mistake this would be and would appreciate any insight!

Hey everyone! My wife (25F) and I (26M) are moving to Mooresville from Southwest Florida in September with our two toddlers, and we're hoping to meet some new people in the area.

We're easygoing and love getting out on the boat, grabbing drinks, and finding good food. We'll be about 10 minutes from Lake Norman, so we're definitely planning to spend a lot of time on the water. Neither of us has been to the area before, so it's a fresh start for us. Open to meeting other couples, parents, or anyone chill who's down to hang.

Since we're brand new here, hit us with your recs: favorite restaurants and bars, best hangout spots, good gyms, where to put in on Lake Norman, kid-friendly stuff, date night spots, anything we should know.

And if there are any local events, trivia nights, or meetup groups worth checking out this fall, we're all ears.

Hi! I’m new to the area and was wondering if there are any advanced adult dance classes. I grew up dancing competitively and still really enjoy it. I’m into ballet, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop and whatever else is out there!!

There's been a lot of hate lately regarding the Islamic Center that's been in the Mooresville since 2011 now that they have started building a permanent worship center. Please sign and share, and let the leaders of the city know there is positive community support for our Muslim community despite the loud opposing voices based on fear and misinformation.
