How to win games with a team diff and how to improve in general?

Hello. Started league around 3 months ago and somewhat recently picked up Morde, since he's just such a fun champ. I've played a decent number of games on him and, while I'm still bad, I'm not where I was when I started.

However, I'm just wondering how to carry these games. I physically can't do anything when my team is absolutely feeding - look at their stats. Jungle doesn't seem too bad until you realize that he lost grubs and all four drakes in a twenty minute game. The other lanes speak for themselves. Names blurred for anonymity. I'm smacking this hard matchup Yone in toplane, but I just can't do anything and we lose game.

My question is this - how do yall carry your team, in games like these? I'm in bronze four, for reference. Is there any specific item build you guys go in these 1v4 situations?

While I have you attention, might as well ask how to rank up with morde. I'm aiming for gold by the end of the summer. Is this attainable, at my current pace? I started playing ranked maybe two, three weeks ago and started at iron 1. Are there any tips to being a better morde player? I want to know it all!

Hi i have been playing Mordekaiser for a while any guide? im stuck in gold

I just came back to play league after around 2-3 years and start climbing rank again.. but i seem to get kited by their ad carry most of the time and it get really frustrating

i also main some other such as nasus darius or dr.mundo if mordekaiser got banned

Can anyone give this low elo Morde a rundown on when you can take grasp?

I go conqueror literally every game, and I heard deathfire touch is good into ranged, so when does grasp have a place, if ever?

Isn't "Shield Bash" considred an "On-Hit' effect ? I tried to see if D&D would double it but it doesn't.

Tried with and without the effect on, dealt same damage.

Midlane Mordekaiser is dope

PTA with those vamp boots in midlane for that juicy 15% shield and heal, since I was against aurora I wanted my ult quick so took a Hexplate to run faster, tried in a normal game, next time in a ranked game

Approach velocity or Resolve runes?

Why don’t more people run approach velocity? (In lower ranks). Everyone recommends the resolve secondary (bone plating/second wind/shield bash etc) but I’ve found that approach velocity is phenomenal to 1v9 games. I’m only diamond but am a otp morde main and almost always build

  1. Riftmaker
  2. Rylais / D&D
  3. Rylais / D&D
  4. Vamp boots (disgustingly op)
  5. Armour/Mr item
  6. Nashors/hextech/another defensive item

I consistently win lane and since rift+d/d+vamp boots gives an absolutely disgusting combination of sustain and damage, it easily allows me to snowball 1v2s especially against melee heavy comps. However the downside is the lack of mobility against ranged champs which is one of mordes biggest weakness.

Therefore, isn’t it wise to trade resolve runes to compensate for this weakness? Approach V gives 15% movement speed combined with Rylais 30% slow on mordes passive is absurdly op??? Landing a E basically forces the enemy to fight you, since there is no possibly way for them to escape. Not to mention it’s basically impossible to be kited by any adc anymore especially if you also use R.

New patch build?

So Ive been trying top lane for a few weeks and Im trying every known morde build but sometimes I feel the end game is kinda troublesome, so far Ive tried:

Rylais>RiftM>Lyandris>Thorn>SVisage

Rylais>Hex>Nash>Thorn>Svisage

Rylais>Dusk>RiftM>Thorn>Svisage

RiftM>Dusk>Lyandris>Thorn>Svisage

I build the new boots almost every match

As for runes, Conq>ShieldB>BoneP

Any extra advice?

For big tanks do you guys go lyandris first?

Mixing items

I’m low elo (just hit silver 4 yesterday lol) and have been OTP’ing Morde for off and on 6 months to a year. Love the iron revenant.

But I find myself building the same thing every game, even though it works. Typically it’s rylais with approach velocity so I can space, and then I build matchup specific depending on who I’m laning or if the adc is a problem.

Point I’m getting at, is it worth to mix items with morde? I know his q scales with ad *and* ap, but his passive does not. Is it still worth to go the anti burst times like deaths dance and steraks gauge? Or is it just better to go ap bruiser/tank? Or is it better to go full AD if I build any items like it at all?

Ive returned to league again, not that i played much back then. But now that im back im not sure if i should play with mordekaiser on every lane, as some of my colleges in my team have politely asked me to end my expirience on this planet earth cuz i played with morde in jungle. Idk whats wrong with that

Thus, Mordekaiser became a myth: a memory Runeterra prefers to forget out of fear. This dread is reflected in figures like LeBlanc, who, despite her millennia of life and indifference to celestials, ascended, darkin, or demons, displays visceral hatred toward the Iron Revenant.
