I'm 20 and studied CS with Data/AI focus for 3 years. I validated my third year, but two modules from first year are still blocking my diplomas both bac+2 and bac+3, and my grades overall are pretty weak.

Because of that, I realistically can't do a Master's this year. Even later, I'll probably have to aim for a private university because my academic record isn't strong.

I actually enjoy building skills and projects combining IT /AI with other fields im intersted in. The main reason I did badly in college is that I barely attended and didn't take studying seriously.

My family doesn't know about my diploma situation or how weak my academic record is. They're pushing me toward a Master's, in a private uni or abroad, but I've convinced them to give me a gap year to build myself.

The problem is that I can't just stay home doing online courses or building projects. I need to show them a serious plan and be engaged in somthing.

Is there any way out of this situation ? I dont want to just do a generic and basic courses just to say am doing something.

Salam Casa, for a good year now I’ve been trying to break into the SAP market. People I meet at events give me good feedback but I never get any interviews when I actually apply for jobs.
I work in a small IT company rn, finance background, done some SAP training on the side. Feels weird that networking always goes well but the actual applications go nowhere lol. Not sure if it’s my CV, how I’m applying, or just the market being rough for juniors rn.

Hi everyone, I have a question for people working or studying in AI/ML.

How strong does your math actually need to be to become good at machine learning? Do you need an advanced level of math in general, or are the basics enough for most ML engineers, while deeper mathematics is mainly needed for researchers?

I’m also wondering where to properly learn and practice the math used in AI/ML — especially linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, and optimization.

A lot of AI/ML courses I’ve seen either skip the math or explain it at a very basic level, so I’m looking for resources where I can actually understand it deeply and solve relevant problems.

Any books, courses, websites, or learning paths you would recommend?

I'm 23 years old
I have a diploma in Multimedia Development and then completed a Bachelor's degree in Mobile Application Development. The problem is that during my studies I focused much more on graphic design than programming because I couldn't find opportunities in development, and eventually I started working as a graphic designer, video editor, and motion designer.
I'm currently making around 4,500 MAD/month, and while I'm grateful to have a job (agency), I don't see much long-term growth in my current position.
Lately I've been seriously considering switching back to programming, specifically front-end development (for now)
My concerns are:
• Is it realistic to switch into front-end development with essentially no professional programming experience?
• Will employers care that I graduated a while ago but never worked as a developer?
I just want to make sure I'm investing my time into something that has a realistic chance of paying off.
I'd really appreciate any advice from people who have made a similar career switch
