Early Intel shows Google has kept 12-Bit DCG available on the Pixel 11 Pro (as well as 50MP RAW stream) for third party apps such as MotionCam!!

For the uninitiated, the thing that reveals this are the bottom 2 RAW streams in the list

8160×6128 (RAW10, 1.33) is 50MP

4080x3064 (RAW12, 1.33) is 12-bit RAW

The real question now is whether the new sensor spec lets you use Open Gate 60fps DCG versus the Pixel 10 Pro which capped at Open Gate 30fps DCG and otherwise had no exposed Open Gate Crop DCG stream

What I mean by this, it should have had a 4080x2304(RAW10, 1.33) and 4080x2304(RAW12, 1.77) both.

Otherwise, this is still amazing news as it shows they were intentional in exposing this capability! Well done, Google 😄

External shutter problem after update

After an motioncam pro update (I think? I didn't notice an update, but the welcome screen popped up again), the shutter button on my Hohem M7 started switching video preview modes instead of starting recording. Is there any way to change it back to triggering the shutter? This is really disrupting my workflow.

Some RAW, edited photos from this extraordinary camera system.

The wide shots are shot using a special sensor mode called DCG mode which gives a 14- bit output, and much lesser noise in the shadows, in the motioncam pro app. All the photos are shot in motioncam pro.

Vivo X300 Pro vs Xiaomi 17 Ultra — Which one should I buy? 📱🇳🇵

I’m planning to buy a new flagship phone in Nepal and I’m confused between the Vivo X300 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Ultra.

The current Nepal prices I found are:

\- Vivo X300 Pro (16/512GB): NPR 179,999

So Xiaomi is around NPR 20,000 more expensive.

force close/crash issue

vivo300ultra user here,all 3 lens using DCG profile(from discord group),but when start recording,more than 50% chance it will crash or sudden force close at the beginning or mid of recording, i always clear all apps in background before using motioncam pro and currently im shooting direct log with slog3 hevc standard.can anyone share or give some idea what went wrong?much appreciated

I am having Massive Frame Drops in 30FPS, Direct Log-Full Sensor, 4080x3060, 23mm-1x

CPU- Snapdragon 8 Elite 1

Video Codec- HEVC (Hardware, 10bit, 4:2:0)
Render Quality- High
Profile- Main 10
Bitrate Mode- Constant Bitrate
Maximum Bitrate- 90Mbps
Key Frame Interval- 30

Encoder Surface Input- ON
Record to exact Resolution- ON
Full Range- OFF
Variable Frame Rate- OFF

Color Space- BT.709
Transfer Function- BT.709

Internal Storage is not Full, only 33% is used in my S25U, Using Motioncam Pro in Airplane mode, Wi-Fi off and Bluetooth off, CPU is also Throttling don't know why, Performance Profile is in Normal Mode, battery protection is maximum

Is my S25U memory (UFS 4.1) being damaged or my CPU?? or related to battery problem??
