Opinion on getting ZX6R

Hello,

As the title suggests, I am currently looking into Kawasaki ZX6R. Yes, Im fully aware of the fact that its a super sport and high-risk motorcycle according to SAAQ.

I would like to ask for your opinion on getting a motorcycle such as that or similar 4-cyl ones

31M, with 1 yr of experience (since Quebec doesn't accept Moto exp from other province, have about 3 yrs or so :/) and a clean record

Could really use some advice on insurance and/or vehicle registration, our road situation, comfort and etc.,. I currently own a Yamaha R3 and would be trading that if and when it comes to that

Triumph Scrambler 900/1200 for Montreal/QC?

Hey guys,

Thinking about picking up either a Triumph Scrambler 900 or 1200, but I want a realistic take from people riding them around here. Before dropping the cash, I've got a few specific questions.
How do these bikes actually handle Montreal roads daily? The suspension seems perfect for our potholes, but how brutal is that high exhaust heat when you're stuck in traffic or construction? Also, is the 1200 overkill or just too heavy for the city compared to the 900?

Getting off the island means hitting the 15 or the 40, so how bad is the wind blast at 110–120 km/h? Is the 900 buzzing its head off at those speeds, or do you really need the 1200’s 6th gear for weekend trips to be comfortable?

Be honest, are these just lifestyle marketing bikes for looking cool at a cafe, or do people actually use them for what they're built for? If I want to hit gravel and dirt roads outside the city in the Laurentians or the Townships, is there actually a good network for a scrambler, or do you basically need a hardcore dual-sport and an FQMHR permit to see any real dirt in Quebec?

Lastly, does that high exhaust completely ruin your options for mounting right-side luggage or carrying a passenger without burning them?
Appreciate any insight from owners or anyone riding similar styles. Thanks!

How am I supposed to know I'm going to like an older bike model if dealers don't offer test rides?

Moto test days are for newer models, dealers dont offer test rides, most private owners don't either.

Just sol and yolo it when you buy an older model bike?

Failed 5th attempt Moto knowledge test

Finding this impossible.

I've done an online class with tecnic, read the book (a few times now), multiple choice questions online.

Anyone done this recently (last 6 months) in English? If you passed, how lol?

Road Exam: 6A with my Honda cb300?

I understand that the exam should be taken with a >500cc motorcycle but I’ve read conflicting information if I could take the exam with my cb300. Anyone manage to pass it and still get 6A?

Merci beaucoup.
