Just passed my knowledge test but my paperwork was wrong when I was trying to get the liscence made so they told me they couldn’t do it. (Kirkland)
So then I made an appointment at CAA SAAQ Longueuil, I show up there and they tell me they can’t make a 6R liscence here and I need to go to a “point de service”.
The only “point de service” that is near where I live is Henry Bourassa which closes at 2:30… my work ends at 4pm.
I managed to find an appointment on a weekend at “rendez vous familiale point st Charle” on decarie. But on the SAAQ website it still says it’s a “mandataire” so I don’t know if they do class 6 liscencing… although they did do my class 5 learners…
What do you guys think? Am I wasting my time going to Decarie one or not? Do I juts take time off work?
Evidemment les plaques baissent ca donne envie dacheter pour lete. Un gars je connais est pret a vraiment baisser le prix de sa moto pour que je lachete. Une supersport 2024 en bas de 17000$. Genre de deal que je vais voir une seule fois dans ma vie. Ca vaut la peine de lacheter pour rouler et la revendre au mois d’octobre?
What do you guys think of the stunt scene here in Montreal? If we have any? Ive stunted out my grom and wanted to practice in private lots but ive heard you can still get in trouble. If not in private lot where can i even learn?

Ça fait deux fois cette saison que je m'explose les testicules et la suspension de mon Honda Shadow, qui est déjà quasi-inexistante, peut plus en prendre.
J'en ai déjà assez du monde qui check un film sur leur téléphone en chauffant.

J’hésite présentement à installer un full exhaust sur ma MT-09 2025.
Je voulais avoir votre opinion:
Beaucoup de riders ont des exhaust modifiés. Pour ceux que c’est le cas, la police du grand Montreal vous achale beaucoup? Not sure I want to pay a couple of 300$ tickets per season. Never been pulled by the cops ever.
Vous l’avez fait installer chez un dealer homologué?
Cela annule la garantie initial? Si c’est le cas je vais attendre 2027 car je suis encore garantie par Yamaha jusqu’à mai prochain.
C’est essentiellement pour le son et l’esthétique? Gain réel plus minime?
Je regarde présentement pour un full Akrapovic (euro 5) et le prix+installation me couterait environ 2500$ minimum…😅
Instructor said it would be around 45 minutes. It was only 15 minutes 0_o after about 13 minutes I saw the saaq and I was like “oh shit why are we here did I fail” then the instructor said park wherever. I walked over expecting a fail but he just said you did good and you passed. Anyone else have this experience? I didn’t even have to park on the road for the test. Just did autoroute and street riding
La moto s'est couché pour une sieste de quelques secondes. C'était à l'arrêt, donc rien de grave, sauf que le levier de frein a cassé au point de rupture.
Donc je cherche un levier, de Ninja 650 ou er-6n 2012 à 2016. Idéalement un levier d'origine.
Quelqu'un a ça?
Genre si tu as changé tes leviers pour des plus beaux et que tu ne veux plus tes leviers gris moche, je vais te les échanger contre une caisse de bière (ou des dollars).

Cependant j’ai perdu mon papier d’immatriculation est ce que je vais pouvoir passer l’inspection sans avoir le papier?
Sinon comment je peux ravoir le papier?

I currently have 4 demerits points to my name and cannot get my 6r licence. Anybody got like any idea how i could still manage to get a licence for the summer? Like getting one in another province or if saaq will let me have it under some conditions?
Ive been riding dirtbikes for a while and really wanted a street bike for the summer

Was driving on the right lane of a 2 lane highway, 3 cruiser motorcycle group was on the left lane. The tail gunner was in the middle of the highway, on the dotted line.
They were doing 115kmh, I went to the right lane to pass them and let them be in the left, and the Gunner swings over and blocks me from going past 120kmh.
I go back in the left lane since he almost suicides in front of me, and he swings back to the left. I swing back to the right, he follows me again angrily speeding up, so I go to the right shoulder to drive up and get off at my exit..
Dude why tf do you block the right lane? I would have safely passed you and your group, but you made it a very dangerous almost deadly situation with how close he came to my car when he swung over.
We're not allowed passing your group? Dude we're on a public highway, I was not driving erratically before this situation. You don't know my situation, maybe I'm trying to get to the hospital, etc.
People who do this, please explain because I'm genuinely curious and want to understand more so I don't cause any accidents or get killed myself.
I am relatively new to motorcycling. I am riding a 2025 Honda Transalp with tubed tires. One of my biggest blind spots when it comes to riding is maintenance. I can do the basics (clean chain, oil change) and understand torque specs and how to read a manual. There are a few things I'd like to level up. Specifically: replacing a tube, changing a tire, chain tension adjustment, and wheel alignment.
I don't have a garage or a place to do this work where I can take my time with it, so I was hoping I could find someone who does have the space, equipment, and knowledge. I am of course going to provide all the consumable parts, bring my own tools, and compensate you for your time (cash and beer if you partake).
This question has probably been asked before but just want to make sure for recent times. I got an appointment at Centre services Laval for my 6A license. Can i do it with my R3 which is 321CC?
Are the instructors okay with giving 6A license in this case?
Also, what about any bike modification? Every light is okay on my bike but I changed the stock front indicators with the small lights that does not stick out.
Edit: Can I use a friend's motorcycle even if it does not have my name on the insurance?

Like the title says, I’m a new rider on an MT-03. I’m scared of the highway but also need to learn. But I live off the decarie highway and there is no way I’m getting on that shitshow as my first solo highway ride without the course instructors.
Are there any good easy highway routes on south of the island that I can easily get on and take first exist off just to get used to my bike at higher speeds?
