Anyone use an epix pro gen 2 for lap tracking?
Thinking of buying one as they’re cheap rn lmk what you think
MXGP21, rider weight and ruts (and scrub)
Hi,
Just bought the game today.
Coming from MXGP19, the physics felt a bit odd at first, kinda arcadish and stiff, but I’m getting my hand on it.
BUT, I’m still struggling with body weight.
How do I use it.
Contrary to the 19, I don’t feel any change on handling, except to make me fall, especially with ruts.
If I don’t use it, I jump out of the rut, if I use it, I just fall inside, so how to take them and use weight.
I’m playing on hardest difficulty just like 19, but struggling way more.
Also, I’ll randomly fall inside some corner if I use rider weights, without any rut or bump…?
Also, what’s up with the whip/scrub?
I could easily do it in the 19 and land perfectly, but here it feels so weird.
Am I doing something wrong, or that’s just how the game is?
Where can you practice dirt bikes near Downingtown besides the usual tracks?
I’m in the Downingtown PA area and trying to find places to ride that aren’t limited to MX track practice days. I already hit the usual spots (Pagoda, Sleepy Hollow, Dutchmen, etc.) but they’re only open on certain days, which makes it tough to get consistent seat time.
Are there any year‑round places to practice? Trails, private land, single‑track spots, anything that’s actually rideable without waiting for a scheduled practice day.
If anyone local has suggestions for places you can ride basically anytime, I’d appreciate it.
Destroyed a foot-peg during trailering.
I started using chains clipped on the foot-pegs instead of a chock and straps because it’s easier to load by myself and I thought it was more efficient. Well, this happened yesterday to my pit bike (YCF150 Pilot). I’m sure the pegs are cheap alloy with questionable welds, and this likely won’t happen with my Honda 250r or kawi 250, but I found interesting.
Race start?
I was wondering If anybody could give me some advice, on how to Race start properly.
I Ride a yz 125 2013 and i weigh 75kg
Some people at the local track told me to start in second at half throtthle, and Play with the Clutch, and 2 other people told me to start First Gear in Limiter and let the Clutch Pop.
I am aware that this Question might Sound dumb, but could Somebody Help?
Made a PS1-style motocross game by myself. Want real riders' honest take on the feel, not gamers
I grew up around dirt bikes and on the old late-90s/early-2000s motocross games, and I always felt modern racing games lost the feel. So I've been building my own, solo, in my spare time.
The whole thing is built around riding feel instead of graphics: you steer with the throttle, the rear steps out when you gas it into a corner, you can back it in on the brakes, and you set up whips/scrubs off the jumps with mid-air control. Bad landing and you're picking yourself up out of the dirt. It's got an intentionally retro PS1 look because that's the era that got me into it.
Trailer's attached. I'm posting here specifically because you all actually ride — I'd rather hear "the body position is wrong" or "nobody backs it in like that" from real riders than polite feedback from gamers. Be brutal, it helps.
No studio, no budget, just me. If it looks like your kind of thing there's a free demo and a Steam page below, but mostly I just want to know if the feel reads right to people who do this for real.

🟢 Steam (wishlist if you're into it): https://store.steampowered.com/app/4677430/Old_School_Motocross_Championship/
Cheers, and thanks for any feedback.
Bike without title?
Looking at buying 2020 crf250r. Guy says he bought it new and can apply for a lost title but doesn’t have it on hand. His Facebook doesn’t look like the typical scammer/sketchy account and it’s priced at $4k.
I bought a 2006 kx250f back in 2012 without a title and never had an issue, but that was over a decade ago. Is it more of a concern now or does it not matter if I get a bill of sale and picture of his license?
Guys I got back on a 450 last weekend!!!
So previously I asked for motivation and encouragement. I heard everyone out, sure some of you said go small, some of you said you may die, some of you said genuinely kind things. Thank you all and I got back onto a 450 Kawasaki (photo is old and is a 450 Honda the one I crashed on) I went for a 6 hour ride and it felt amazing, sure I was sore after the ride but it felt great. Thank you everyone. All my gear was still good and the helmet barely had a scratch from my surprise. I really need to buy a bike and I think I want to go for the 2023 Kawasaki 250KX or the 450KX. PS the Kawasaki is my father’s bike and is a 2024 450. My Honda was a 2012 450 so little more power.
Senders - Wide Open Dirtbike Sim - Physics Showcase
From last week to this, I've been working to get the marketting aspect up for my Dirtbike Sim, as well as putting out a FULL 8 minute long video of footage of my game! It's in glorious 1440p and 60 FPS, much better quality than reddit embedded :)
Steam page is up to wishlist and discord is up for discussion!
Links to those are available at sendersgame.com
Beyond that, same news as before, see the 'sneak peek' post for that discussion - Posting a Youtube Video Tomorrow for my New Dirtbike Sim - Sneak Peak
Let me know your thoughts, so far I've been very excited with the discussion, and it's been very helpful to hear from you guys. Thanks for checking it out!
Need advice. What are some beginner friendly dirtbikes?
Hey guys I’m a 26F interested in learning how to ride. I’m 5 foot and 115 pounds I’m a smaller person. What bikes would you recommend for someone new and my size?
I was told with my first bike I’ll outgrow it fast so I’m considering buying a used bike first.
How would an Adult learn Motorcross/FMX with no prior experience?
I have never done BMX. I was curious about learning motorcross or FMX. I don't know anyone who has done this, so I cannot recruit a friend to teach me.
I assume most people learn this as teenagers and have friends/families that are into it.
Is it realistic for an adult to learn on their own?
If so, how would one go about it? Are there businesses that cater to teaching people?
Yz250 whats going on here
Después de 300 horas con un pistón, le toca cambio, y al desmontar la power valve encontré esta pieza marcada con un poco de viruta.
No se la posible causa porque es una cosa muy extraña
Looks like Cairoli is joining in on the fun too
Best MESX the game?
Hi,
Which Monter Energy Supercorss has the best physics (and graphics/content too)
Coming from MXGP19, but I love SX (played MXvsATV Reflex back in the days) though about buying MESX.
I bought MESX4 but was kinda disappointed with the physics. It felt too arcadish, and tho I played MXGP on hard mode, I couldn’t properly ride on MESX.
Rider-bike felt so rigid.
So, what is the best MESX the game, and maybe the closest to MXGP19?
