Needle Sizes
Hi, Everyone. I've started Mounjaro & this is my 3rd week on it. The needles I've been issued to inject with are BD Micro-Fine Ultra hypodermic insulin needles for pre-filled / reusable pen injectors screw on 4mm/32gauge. I inject into my thigh, and count to 10 before withdrawing the needle; I've had a small wet patch on my thigh after injecting - not a huge amount, but very noticeable. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm not new to using these types of pen to inject myself as when I was first treated for diabetes in 2010 I had to use novonodisk pens to inject myself with insulin & used them for a couple of years.... I seem to recall them having to change the size of the needle at one point.... but its so long ago my mind might be misremembering that. Is the stuff not going in properly - has anyone else experienced this?
