This probably belongs here

Why is it so hard to just say “yeah Rudeus is problematic but I can look past that and enjoy the rest of the show”

I, Tarnished, Lord of Frenzied Flame, chosen of the Three Fingers, bearer of the curse that unmakes all order , could I solo the entire Mushoku Tensei universe, unmake this rotten dimension to its core, and burn it to the ground?

The Hate of Mushoku tensei and moral priorities

See, People can Ignore Sukunas actions and find him cool Even though he killed thousands of people. Life ended them.

And that is because of Psychological Distancing.

People can psychologically distance themselves from fictional murder enough to aestheticize the murderer as "cool", or "fascinating while a Diddler bad actions are more real , vulnerable and threatens the "purity " of someone young.

It triggers such an immediate disgust response that the same psychological distance often becomes unavailable—even though murder is the destruction of a person's ENTIRE future, whereas sexual abuse is a violation that leaves the victim alive and therefore, however severely traumatized, still capable of having a future.

The disgust response of Humans does not take into account the permanence of the harm.

People can aestheticize an act that annihilates the victim completely,

while being unable to aesthetically distance themselves from an act that violates the victim without necessarily killing them.

And basically all this to say You are not morally superior to throw extreme labels, you are just another Human with flawed And Inconsistent Moral Priorities.
