Help identifying this sankyo song
The auto play mechanism is broken but still plays when cranked - just a bit slower than normal... At least I remember ? It was my grandmother's and my body produces tears Everytime I hear it

This is part of a Mann porcelain statue of two Persian kittens sitting together on a yellow cushion, I can’t find the name of the song anywhere. It’s Sankyo, the cylinder is labeled U7
My grandmother has had this clock for over 40 years and no one knows what the song is. I’d love to find out
found this beautiful music box at a thrift store but it’s 40$ so i’m hoping to find the song so I can get something a little cheaper with this beautiful tune
My sister's favorite anime is Princess Tutu and I want to give to her a music box with the opening theme, but it doesn't exist. I even checked Japanese websites, that otherwise have hundreds of anime songs, but they didn't have this one.
A custom music box would break the bank, but I simply see no other option. What is the cheapest option to get this particular song (title: Morning Grace) into a music box? Like what of there's an obscure shop somewhere out there that actually has this on their list and I just haven't found it yet?
Please help!
My friend came to our group chat last night asking if any of us recognized this song. I know I've heard it before but I have no clue what its called, any insight is appreciated!! Tia!
I thrifted this carousel and it has a Sankyo music box. I would love to know the song or if you guys could even figure out who made this carousel.
Hello.
I went to an antique store today, and bought this resin cat music box. I don't recognize the song and when I put it through multiple song recognition platforms including youtube, google, shazam, and a couple other websites this sub recommended, none of them could identify it.
The cat itself has no additional information where it came from except that it was made in the USA and that there is a plastic music box inside of it that you can wind up.
Can anybody identify the name of the song?
Music box tune from 1980s fibre optic flowers clock
Trying to identify the tune in a 1980s Telesonic fiber-optic flower clock/music box.
Made in Taiwan, likely mid 1980s. The clock has rotating fibre optic flowers, gold clock face, and a wind up music box mechanism. I haven't been able to find documentation on what the tune is.
It is NOT:
Memory
Music Box Dancer
Fur Elise
Blue Danube
Swan Lake
Love Story
The way we were
Lara's Theme
It's a small world
Edelweiss
My favourite things
Beautiful Dreamer
Toy Land
Or any simple folk tune like You are My Sunshine
Help?
Purchased this 19th-20th century painted enamel mechanical bird box last week. The underside has two stamps, EB inside a small oval and metal. It also has the word Germany stamped on one of the ridges. A quick search came back with "manufactured by Emil Brenk, a renowned German maker of gilded metal and enamel singing bird automaton boxes active from the late 19th through the mid-20th century". My apologies for the poor lighting
hello!
i got this cute little music box from an antique store a few months back, and have recently been wondering what the others look like and/or where i could buy them.
i’ve tried googling the keywords i used in the title of this post, as well as the company name, but i’ve not been able to find what this specific series is called.
one sticker on the bottom says “the san francisco music box company”, but when i visited their website i couldn’t find the bears anywhere. (though maybe i’m just blind)
the company seems to make a wide variety of music boxes, but the only ones i’m after are the days of the week ice cream-themed bears. i currently only have Monday/Mondae (as pictured).
i just cant find them anywhere! i’ve only been able to track down Thursdae & Tuesdae on ebay… and they’re quite pricey in comparison to what i paid for this one ($8 vs \~$20+). maybe i lucked out on this one and they’re just quite hard to come by..?
any help would be greatly appreciated!
side note: “Spoonful of Sugar” is just the song she plays, not the series name or anything :)
I have this music box; many years ago my grandfather went to Japan and brought it back, but no matter how hard I've tried to find the song, I can't find it 😭
This music box used to belong to my grandmother, and I used to play with it as a child all the time. I have always loved the song it plays but I've never heard it anywhere else! She has since given it to me, and due to my heavy use of it as a kid plus it's age, sometimes it doesn't play. Can anyone identify this song so I can perhaps get a replacement for the inside?
I’ve had this music box as long as I remember and even after searching the barcode number, I can’t find it and I cannot figure out what song is playing
I used to play with a copper music box that looked SIMILAR to the one pictured above, however it did not have a smokestack or rail, and the most important part about it was that it played "these are a few of my favorite things" while a mechanism inside of it lifted and closed the pots and pans on the stove.
Does anyone remember or know what that music box is called? I can't find photos of it anywhere and my grandma doesn't recall what it was.
Remember, it's not the one pictured but close to it. Thank you!
