I apologize if you guys are sick of these, I've seen a few others trying to meet friends and connect here and I hoped it'd work for me! I'm 34F, moved to Muskegon 5 months ago and I absolutely love it!!

There are lots of things to do in and around muskegon this fall/winter and I'd love some friends to do stuff with! I'm looking for people who are progressive, love music, are open-minded and don't have a lot of drama going on. I'm single and child free, you don't have to be, but I'm more interested in people without kids haha sorry. I'm open to any age bracket as long as you're chill! I also smoke a lot of weed, would love some stoner buddies, I don't drink much and probably wouldn't get along with someone who drinks often. Here's some things I'm interested in doing:

-hike the lights at Muskegon luge

- any live music, I like punk, hardcore, jam bands, bluegrass, rock and hip hop, and probably more!

- haunted houses/trails

- lumberjacks games

- ice skating

- hikes/walks, biking, longboarding

- craft nights

- gym (still debating PF or Neal)

- west MI symphony

- go out to eat, I'm a huge foodie

- poetry nights, open mics

I'm sure there's more that I'm not thinking of. I'm also into reading, thrifting, tattoos, gaming, cooking, and have 3 dogs.

If I sound like your type of person hmu! If enough ppl reach out I'll start a group that meets weekly at a different local business or something!

I realize from my activities list I may appear to be super active and in shape, but I'm just *getting* in shape haha, cannot keep up with hardcore physical activity.

Hello, my girlfriend and I (21F and 22M) recently visited Muskegon from Flagstaff, AZ. We are going to be teachers, and are looking to move from AZ. While we found the city beautiful and enjoyable, what are some things to be aware of? Is there much to do for people our age? It didn’t seem like there was a ton to do, but we visited in August right before school started, so I think the town was in a bit of a lull. It seems like a very nice place to raise a family with a supportive and friendly school district. Any thoughts?

Where is the best place to order a keg in Muskegon? I would like to order one to have ready by Halloween. Thanks in advance for any help!

I am going through a tough time financially and am currently working during the week at a grocery store. I have a degree in Communications and also have experience editing and writing as a freelancer. My week day job is not cutting it and I don’t have a way of transportation other than walking/taking local transportation. I reside in Grand Haven and have had no luck finding supplemental income. I’m looking for work on Saturday and Sunday only. Any leads would be greatly appreciated.

Ive really never seen an actual meteor in real life so Im not sure what it would look like but I just saw a very bright (brighter than anything Ive seen in the night sky) white light with white streaks zoom across a small visual distance for maybe half a second before I lost sight and it ducked behind the trees. It wasnt super small either it was visually about 2/3rds the size of the moon and I saw it in North Muskegon while facing directly south west.

I just wanted to make sure Im not crazy and also just wanted to see if anyone else saw it or knows more about meteors / comets out of curiosity lol
