Mvc newbie here, I'm just having a bit of trouble finding a team and sticking with them
Morrigan is the only mandatory because she's one of my favorite fg characters, and my most played character in some of my favorite fgs (vsav and cvs2)
Saw some other people use this format for team building help so I thought I'd do it too

Going through all the missions but it's giving me a lot of trouble, pretty much all because of the shoryuken input (→,↓,↓+→ or ←,↓,↓+←) I have tried the z motion and using the dpad but neither feel super consistent for me is there anything I might be doing wrong or is it just an annoying string because at least half of the characters seem to have one and I just can't grasp how I would get all of these done without just banging my head against the wall until it happens to work, but Im sure it has to be made at least a bit consistent if it is such a common thing they make you do.
Finally the latest update let me play on my galaxy s22 it runs at 60 after building a few shaders. A good idea for mobile labbing was able to do an infinite

Literally no other game i have lags this bad
I was trying to play with my cousin on two separate consoles on umvc3, because we are both very blind, and for whatever reason we both queue for comp and he can't even find a game and if I ever do it's to someone else with awful connection, is there any way to improve your chances of matching with people or something? Even when we are the only ones seemingly queuing for multiple minutes it just wouldn't queue us together, but also wouldn't tell us it couldn't find anyone for like 10 minutes, it's like they have some kind of thing where two people on the same IP can't connect or something but I even tried connecting my phone to a vpn and connecting my hotspot to the PlayStation on my console, it STILL wouldn't connect us. So what am I doing wrong? We just wanted to be able to have matches that count toward the ranked system since you cant really find anyone with a consistent connection now, and we are rather new to actual combos and are trying to learn in a more calm environment than players who never stopped playing.

I have been playing this game on 360 every summer since like 2014 I have been playing for more than half my age but since i was little I always played on "simple" mode because I when ever I used to play on "normal" my attacks were never the same even if I pressed the same buttons (now I know that moves require button AND joystick movements to activate) and so I have just recently saw the community of this game and I see people always playing on normal and I want to learn how to play on normal. And so I want to ask how hard is it to learn the "normal" mode since i know ALL the ins and outs of the simple mode moves and any tips that help with making the learning a fun experience without too much frustration. And thank you.
While I don't think this team has the chemistry of the very best teams, it does have two very viable winning conditions that you can basically go for at any given time between sets and be adaptable.
MorriDoom is there to wreck shop, a Phoenix with 2-3 bars can still cleanup whatever is leftover from MorriDoom. I can kind of see someone getting caught up on stopping the 5-bar meter build but get wrecked by the Morrigan point.
Is Doom keep away with DH assist viable enough to build 5 bars? Also, if Dark Phoenix does come out and doesn't get countered with anti-tech, how good are they then compared to other teams? So basically, how good is this team's peak at their full potential? It's got to be best in game right?

Again, hoping something doesn't appear out of nowhere to torpedo this and make it impossible but it's looking good!
I was asked to do a combo using both counter assists. Since it is impossible to do in a legitimate combo, I hatched out this sequence.
So I want to play this Psylocke and select her Color 4 but every time I select it and the game loads, it loads up as Color 19 which is the Rivals costume, how could this be fixed?
