March comes in like a lion
Posted a 3x3 a few weeks back, figured I'd throw up a tierlist too. I come from more of a scifi-fantasy novel background, started watching anime around covid, (was chasing the high after seeing Avatar the Last Airbender for the first time, was craving more power system + hero's journey style storytelling, which lead me to naruto lol, then after naruto I wanted to see the best of what the medium could do so I checked the usual lists and saw AoT next.)
I definitely don't watch as much as a lot of folk here, but I've enjoyed dabbling into weebdom!
Only asterisks here might be Re:zero I've only seen 1 season (hoping to continue soon) and Demon slayer, I've only seen 2. Plus the EVA rebuild slot includes all the rebuild movies. Also since I know a lot of people rank pretty top heavy, I really liked a lot of the stuff in B, just figured I got to make cuts somewhere!
Animes in the 3x3:
I could genuinely make different 3x3s based on the context of how I should pick the animes. For this one, I just wanted the 9 animes that I’m either heavily invested to, animes that stick with me because I keep thinking about them, animes that are so entertaining to watch, and even some that changed me (even if it’s not the best representation of my taste). Also guess my age and country based on these animes.
