I am new here. I am sorry if this group is not for vintage ponies at all, but still hope you will appreciate one of my customs.

Have a nice day everyone. Please forgive this question if it's inappropriate, and please forgive me for using Google Translate. I came into possession of these two ponies (the seller called them "vintage Bandai ponies") with distinctive pseudo-glass eyes, which, after a Google search, I identified as Gigo Wonder Pony Land ponies. As I understand it, there are people who collect them and even say that these are their favorite toys from childhood, meaning they seem quite popular and, apparently, more or less safe for health. So, if anyone has similar ones, could you please tell me if they have an unpleasant odor? Both of my ponies have a very strange odor from the vinyl parts, which I've never encountered before in Chinese bootleg toys; it's reminiscent of banana peel, stale apple, and vinegar all at once. At first, I even mistook it for mold, but the figures are clean inside and out, and their manes and tails don't smell at all. Besides, the mold smell usually subsides at least a little after washing and airing them out. I've been washing them with liquid soap for a few weeks now and continue to store them on the balcony in the fresh air, but the smell hasn't gone away. I'd just like to know if this is the characteristic smell of these ponies' vinyl, in which case, I suppose, it's permanent, or if the seller stored them inappropriately, in which case there's still a chance they'll air out over time. I understand that these are bootlegs, and you shouldn't expect much from them, but I have much lower-quality and crudely made bootleg ponies from completely unknown manufacturers, and they don't have any bad smell. But these Gigo ponies seem so detailed and neat, and for some reason I was sure that they were of quite high quality, like, for example, Zuru unicorns.

Finally found Baby Heart Thob Non BBE and introduced her to my G1 Baby Gang.

I had Stella and Heart Thorb as kid until my class mate stole her from me and accused me to pick a fight when I asked her to give them back. I got thrown out and never saw my ponies again.

Hi, found a bag filled with accessories from my childhood toys. Managed to find out to whom some belong to but clueless about the rest. These are the items I managed to identify so far. Your intel regarding any other item would be much appreciated! There are a few barretes, belong to MLPs? Cheers!

- 1991 Barbie Mermaid blue seahorse comb and blue headband with shell.
- Polly pocket Film Star Locket.
- MLP G1 stable’s green flag, pink saddle, bridle and reins.
- Two other pink Barbie brushes.
- Dancing Esmeralda Barbie 1995 crown and tambourine.
- Ariel Barbie purple top and blue seahorse comb. To which other Ariel does the blue top and pink horse belong to?
- Puffed sleeves of Snow White Barbie

Hello! I recently bought some enamel pins at hot topic since they were doing a sale. And I was especially excited since it was both Halloween AND MLP. Well I noticed something odd about Pinkie…she’s supposed to be dressed as a mummy with a knocked over candy bucket. But as you can see, she’s blank! Is this a manufactured mess up or do you think it’s purposeful? I’m keeping her either way, reminds me of the time Trixie took her mouth away!

The inherited ponies have been (hopefully) identified! Im posting this to see if I made any errors or if anybody can identify the onsie cutie mark baby ponie. I tried searching for it and people said Baby Cuddles but the cutie mark isnt the same!

I plan on getting rid of these as a lot or individually if requested in the designated thread afterwards so pls check that out as i need college books 😭😭

Hello, I have a bit of an issue. I recently bought a G1 Lickety-Split toy at a thrift store, she is only my second G1 toy. However, when looking her up, turns out the toy could also be a younger reproduction. Is there any way to tell? The hooves say 1984 patent pending and Hong Kong, but I feel like her mane is too bright and matches the repro pictures better. Does anyone have any thoughts?

I just sent out a lot of 3 inch brushables, and when my buyer received them, she sent me this photo. I didn’t see it when I had the ponies in hand, and I’m not sure if it happened during shipping or if I just didn’t notice it. I’m just wondering if there is a fix to this issue? I’ve never see anything like it…

The only one missing in the photo is a packaged masquerade Rainbow Dash. Shelf is a work-in-progress, so not all of my unpackaged ponies are visible.
