What is going on at the Sea Mist Properties?

This 4-6 block area looks like the third world. It is listed as being owned by Carolina's Holding Co LLC. How can the city allow this squalor?

Review My Itinerary/Planning Tips?

(Reposted for formatting)
(Apologies if this goes against the rules. I promise I'm not trying to ask anyone to plan my trip, just looking for some advice)

Hey y'all, I'll try and keep things relatively short and sweet here (no promises there). I've been planning a 4 day trip to MB to celebrate my birthday for the past 3 months now. I've booked all my major activities, just about everything is paid for, so on and so forth.

I've researched as much as I can via this sub, Youtube, you name it, and my itinerary is just about done, but I just wanted to ask if y'all had any advice or tips on how to keep things running smoothly.

Just to give an example or two, we're a group of 12 in our early/mid 20s, so I've tried to make sure any restaurant we pick can handle larger parties easily. We have 5-6 vehicles to park, so I've already looked at parking lots and garages near our condo. All in all, the smaller, location specific details.

I hope I'm making sense here, but if not, I'm happy to edit this post or clarify in the comments. In any case, here's my itinerary. Thank y'all!

Edit(s):

I should've probably added that I don't intend on following every little thing here down to the letter, down to the minute. I added the free time blocks when I wrote this just to see how things flowed but I don't plan on forcing my friends to only relax for a set period of time. Additionally, most of what you see here isn't what I'm giving my group. This is more a draft for my own sanity. The "final" version will probably be a lot less detailed/strict. I promise y'all, I'm not trying to be a dictator on my own vacation.

If it affects anything, we're staying at Ocean Escapes on the boardwalk.

Where do locals look for year-round rental apartments?

I'm helping my senior father rent out his house. It's actually multiple apartments in an old beach house in North Myrtle, he doesn't live there anymore because of some health issues. We have a tenant who helps with showing the apartments and some other family in the area who help manage the apartments. I'm wondering what web sites for listing apartments are popular in this area? I've had terrible luck with craigslist removing my post before it even goes live (seems to be an issue with housing listings because I've never had it happen with other types of listings). They provide no explanation, so it isn't even worth the effort. I've tried zillow in the past but didn't get much response. Facebook has been the most successful for me, but I hate using that site. Are there other sites that are popular in this area? TIA

Shark Teeth

Are there any stores that I can buy a shark tooth? My son is obsessed and we haven’t had luck finding one yet. Do the Eagles Beachwear stores have them?

Booking direct vs. Vrbo or Airbnb?

Backgroud- Family of three of a 12 yo looking to do a week long vactation to Myrtle Beach for the first time. I've gotten some recs for condo's/resorts from friends but no feedback on wether or not to book directly from the resort OR to use Vrbo/Airbnb. It makes me leary to book a unit that I have not seen but seems like even vrbo or airbnb can be decieving. Just looking for advice. Recs from friends are- Grande Shores resort, Baywatch, Montery Bay Suites, SeaWatch and Dunes Village.

Buffets that have more non-fried items?

As a child, my family's MB vacations always included a visit to a seafood buffet. The Original Captain Benjamin's was probably the favorite. As an adult, my husband (and our other traveling companions), are not as fond of the fried options that are so abundant there and at similar buffets! Does anyone have a recommendation for a buffet that may have more grilled/steamed/not fried options?

Also, any recommendations for Mexican seafood in the area? We really like El Chepo Taqueria. They have some great options, but we would like to try other places!

Coastal Volunteer Opportunities

Hiya! I’m at school in Virginia and looking for coastal volunteer opportunities at the beach this summer. I’m going to school for landscape architecture & I’m interested in coastal restoration, hence the search for volunteer opportunities. Would love to connect/network & help the earth as much as I can :) Any good suggestions for opportunities/ocean conservation foundations to peek at?

Royal Farms 3/10 Don't Waste Your Money

Went to the opening of Royal Farms in Fantasy Harbour, let's just say I wasn't expecting too much (as far as comparisons to Wawa, Sheetz, and Buccees) BUT I can say that I was atleast expect some good chicken since I've been to many smaller gas stations that serve chicken and it ALWAYS bangs.

Needless to say because of the title, this place is blehhhh. Bland ass food, chicken tenders were okay but cold. They messed up our order by leaving out the potato wedges we got. And the sides were gross, my mashed potatoes literally had no flavor and tasted like water. Overall this place is NOT worth it, $26 for two "meals" (literally 3 chicken strips and a $2 upcharge for a side) is absolutely absurd. Save your time and just go get Zaxbys instead.

Best Nightclub/Strip Club?

Headed to MB this weekend with a bunch of college buddies (8 of us) mostly going to chill and enjoy the beach but obviously want to get down at night. Any recs for fun bars/clubs with DJs?

One of my buddies is getting married in the Fall and we want to take him to a strip club. What are the best ones?? Looking online it’s looking like Lust is the best option

Good bars for younger adults

I'm going to visit my retired parents in a couple weeks and my brother who just turned 21 is going to be down there as well, trying to find an age appropriate bar for us to hang out at for one of the nights. I'm 28 and he's 21, anyone have any ideas of where we should go? (Country themed/home town dive bar style ideas welcomed and appreciated)

Looking for friends/groups

24, Married, Moving in August.
I’m moving to the Carolina forest area and was looking to meet people around my age. I’m wanting to get back into riding(Atv/dirtbikes), learn golf (been watching but no where to really play in Alaska), learn a TCG (maybe Pokémon?), and get into a fighting gym (grappling/boxing).

I don’t really care about age (18+ tho) and if you have good non-touristy food spots drop them below. 👇

I’m a lesbo if that matters (not a rainbow one tho more like tomboy masc but I don’t mind you 🌈 guys either ily).
