Is this real or not ?

I recently got my hand on a really nice rip ruck 24L second hand.

I am really happy with the bag as a whole but want to just check tag on the inside as the seller did not add any pictures of it on the listing and on the tag it has sample on it and wanted to see if anyone had run into this before also if its a real mystery ranch bag.

Everything else seems to check out when I looked into it but a second opinion wont hurt thanks.

What kind of money are these going for?

Looking to offload some stuff, and thought I would ask what is a reasonable ask.

August 2019 off the line.

Frankenstein my MR Komodo dragon with Eberlestock cradle belt

I was using my issued pack for TDYs, hikes, walks and remote work and it felt like the standard hip belt was not doing a very good job for heavier loads. I saw that MR phased out their proprietary upgradable live wings and couldn’t find them anywhere anymore, and this Eberlestock cradle belt did the job very well and actually hold the weight very good too.

Did any of you guys run into a similar issue with these by chance?

I think im addicted to collecting Mystery Ranch for some reason. These are my packs

Last two pictures are stock images because I am currently working far from home and just ordered the Rip ruck 15 and forager fanny pack online and havent recieved them yet. My next and last pack to add to my collection is gonna be a gunfighter 14 in black or multicam and I think im done.

I have no idea why I am even collecting this many mystery ranch packs other than the fact that they are amazing quality and my job and lifestyle require good packs. I think the fact that yeti aquired the brand has me trying to get as much as I can before it becomes hard to find. Am I going crazy?

A grey-market blitz 30

I live in South east Asia which makes MR hard to get, so I took a gamble and boom. A very real looking blitz 30 for the equivalent of 112 USD. It seems very likely to be a original that was meant for the Taiwanese distributor as there was a Chinese "No returns or refunds if tag is cut" on it. Thoughts? Good fake or a genuine MR?

When are Hunting Packs sunsetting

Title says it all. Does anyone know when mystery ranch will sunset their hunting packs and whether the external frame packs will become yeti packs? It seems that SCHEELS and even Mystery Ranch’s website is still selling them and they’re all pretty much in stock.

Is the 3DAP constructed like the Blitz 35?

Was at a Sportsman Warehouse and got to feel and try on a Blitz 35. it was quite disappointing because the material and construction, fit was not as good as I'd imagine based on all the marketing.

now, I've been eyeing a 3DAP or even the 1k Blackjack 50L. but if they are made like the blitz 35 then I have my doubts about plunking down that much for one.

thoughts??

Mystery Ranch website listing Taiwan as "Province of China"

This is probably a strange topic for this sub-reddit, but I was genuinely confused and kinda disappointed. I was looking for a dedicated backpack for carrying a large FPV drone to training.

I found a promising pack on Mystery Ranch's website, but when looking for international retailers, the website listed "Taiwan (Province of China)".

I know for most people it probably doesn't mean jack s*it. But for a brand focusing on tactical gear that is also a major defense contractor supplying law enforcement and the U.S. military, taking on a foreign adversary's political terminology, contradicting U.S. foreign policy, punching down US ally, it just doesn't sit right with me.

I don't know if this has to do with new owner of MR, because as far as i know these kinda of kowtow to CCP has always come down to money and market in China. Not trying to start a massive political debate here, but as someone who values the brand’s tactical heritage, I hope this is just a mistake, not them actually bowing to CCP's pressure campaigns. I have sent complaint through website, I will update this post if I got any response.
