Thought I browsed enough to be confident in my 2Dap purchase. Once I bought it, I keep second guessing and decided to resort to the experts in the community.
Are there any warning tells/signs that this item may be a clone?
This bag has been in storage for a long time but I could not find any major issues. It looks just as good from when I put it away.
A bit about the bag: this is the predecessor to the MR Pintler using a NICE frame instead of the newer version. It was designed more for day hunts and overnighters. Zippers still zip with confidence. No fraying. Also included is an expansion bag and a firebox. It appears to have been made in 2015.
Belt is size small. Yoke is size small.
After some deliberation, I feel that this bag is probably overkill on what I want to do which doesn’t involve any hunting or hauling super heavy.
The HPG Aston 3 seems to be more up my alley nowadays. I like their suspension system which is less shoulder reliant. Back and shoulder issues nowadays. If you’ve any recommendations for a bag that I can travel with and do a weekend trip, I would appreciate that.

In brand new condition w/ tags, only tried on to see if it works for me, but it's not as comfortable as I'd like it to be as my torso is too short.

Hey! Going on a long backpacking trip and after some research I discovered Mystery Ranch made solid bags. I wasn’t sure the Coulee 20l (Aura colour) or Coulee 30l (Pebble colour) would be enough so I ordered both.
I decided to go for the 30l, but on close inspection I noticed the waist and shoulder strap aren’t the same Pebble colour as the rest of the bag. The straps are in face the same Aura colour as the Coulee 20l. I contacted the store I ordered from and they said they checked all the Coulee 30l in stock and they apparently all have the Pebble colour on the back but Aura colour on the shoulder and waist strap.
I’m not sure if the company I ordered from just doesn’t want to deal with my refund or exchange or if it’s true that all Coulee 30s have that colour mismatch.
Does anybody out there have a Coulee 30 that can verify if the colour mismatch is how Mystery Ranch designed the bag?
