tl;dr: after reading some good feedback, I got an idea. If you want to participate in the information war against Russia, use this "wall of text" as substance for making entertaining TikTok videos, Youtube Shorts and similar educative media. And why not for memes and infographics, all pointing to the original initiative: the Operation Awakening. The bar is low with AI tools, the makers just need to fact check the end results (this post has all the necessary sources and more can be found by searching). Let us make this a collective resistance movement! Help me to spread the message in forms that are easier to digest.

The previous post already got fair feedback: "i thought this was some solution, not "we need to educate ppl and make them see the truth" which is like saying "yes we need to convince our opponents we are right and they are wrong". I explained: "I haven't seen people distributing such eye-opening information packets to fight Russia. The Russian bots will continue their comprehensive antieducative approach, and will succeed as usual. Counter measures are needed." Ironically, the "we vs. internal opponents" mentality is the reason why this post is needed in the all-victim circumstances! The truth is on our side, now we need a strategy utilizing the big picture and similar perseverance as the Russian information machinery has.
This post promotes good manners to fight against Russia, like sharing this post via various routes and mentioning Operation Awakening when natural/relevant/logical. No "brigading" as described here by a Reddit admin.

The physical battle field looks good, but at the information front we can do better. At least I want to nuke Russia's malicious information operations, as I am afraid of that the history will repeat itself: Russian imperium suffers, and still keeps holding humanity in its cold fingers. As AfD recently won the elections, the opposite I was hoping for, I had to encourage myself. I need to share something that changed how I see the entire political map and our societies.
I used to see the left vs. right, liberal vs. conservative, open borders vs. closed borders, mostly limited into my own country. Quite a simple view for a complex world, almost like a made-up framework huh? Then I read what history tells about Russia's century old hybrid warfare. I realized we are all inside a big theater scripted by the same global director.
I give introduction so that everybody should understand how comprehensive and deep the Russian nets are. Unfortunately, they already form a part of the fabric in our societies. But the hope is not lost, if you get angry like I did, because the better tomorrow can be achieved via awakening.
Someone might think that this post is biased to right, but that is because the Russia-serving right wingers and conservatives are surfaced more often in the general discussion and news. Also the arguments like "Russia is not my enemy, because it is fighting for the traditional values" are obvious, unlike the harnesses Moscow put on the rest of the masses. Thus, I want to promote a rule of thumb: nobody is safe. All the values, ideologies, political movements, even our good intentions are infected by the Russian geostrategic agenda. It took me a while to figure it out. Once you see it, you can't unsee it. I managed to break out: so can you. I give you ideas how to proceed so that we can blow up the delicate card house of Russia! Trust me, Russian bots hate it when people are educated like this. The Operation Awakening is a proven method in the digital battle fields!
Let us start from the organized immigration the AfD voters think they are fighting against, but are just part of the bigger project.
Stable national states are systematically destroyed to spread supranational Russian imperialism over the weak ruins. No military interventions are needed, only tirelessly executed geostrategy across generations. Part of this are the manufactured migration crises from which Russia harvests the backlashes such as misdirected, unreasonable nationalism and polarization. Another goal is to make Western societies impossible to govern via peaceful democracy, to sow chaos and opportunities. Want to read what already happened, where we are currently at, and what will happen if Russia is not stopped? A relevant book is "The Foundations of Geopolitics: The Geopolitical Future of Russia" written by Aleksandr Dugin, the Russian state ideologist. They don't even try to hide it, it is an openly available Russian doctrine for all the interested ones.
How the doctrine has been manifested. Russia and Belarus physically organize and push migrants toward Western borders, they even operate remotely. Russian officials told Finnish counterparts openly that they are using migration as a weapon (YLE, 2026). Finland closed its border in response to the aggressions (FIIA, 2024) which have continued from the times of the Soviet Union (Ilta-Sanomat, 2021). Many other countries like Poland and the Baltics have experienced the same coordinated pushes (FDD congressional hearing, 2026; Global Initiative, 2026). The cases, approaches and directions are endless, and the scale of the project is massive (USA is not excluded). The EU now recognizes this strategy (I warmly recommend taking similar anti-Russian actions in the USA). The Pact on Migration and Asylum includes dedicated anti-instrumentalization tools: stricter safeguards to counter hybrid threats, such as when migrants are weaponized for political leverage (European Commission, 2026). The EU is waking up. The question is whether the AfD and other nationalistic voters are. When will they start to resist the true global enemy, and celebrate how the EU and Ukraine are fighting for the coherent and safe states? Maybe we could start to educate them!
Organized immigration is not the only thing Russia does, as it plays all the sides of political spectrum
Russia is shamelessly using our good intentions and making complex plans against us, like a real state psychopath. Russia's Internet Research Agency (IRA) ran a fake "Blacktivist" page with over 11 million engagements to inflame racial tensions especially in the USA. 66% of the IRA's Facebook ads were about race, targeted at Black communities for voter suppression (leaving space for the right wingers!) "The IRA simultaneously targeted right-leaning audiences with content raising fears of voter fraud". Which is ironically true, but it is Russia that actively manipulates the societies and steers accusations away from itself. This is outrageous. (Axios, 2020; Axios, 2018). Russia have even manipulated LGBTQ+ communities. The IRA created "LGBT United" with over 2 million likes, stoking anger against both conservative politicians and Clinton to again suppress voter turnout and polarize Western people (Out Magazine, 2018).
Multiple ropes are pulled, one operator, one goal: destroy the West from within
And it goes even deeper. NATO Secretary General Rasmussen warned already in 2014 that Russia was covertly influencing European environmental organizations to maintain energy dependence (The Guardian, 2014). In Germany itself, Cicero magazine revealed that Green ministry officials manipulated expert assessments to push through the nuclear phase-out during Russia's energy war. The Bundestag established a formal inquiry, and committee chairman Stefan Heck concluded the promised unbiased review never happened (Cicero, 2024; Brussels Signal, 2024; Yahoo News, 2026). The result: Germany's energy dependence on Russia continued, and Putin pulled the energy card out of its sleeve. What a "coincidence".
However, Russia's involvement with the German nuclear shutdown is not proved using courtroom or laboratory standards. But those are irrelevant here, in the context of a war we were pulled in against our own will. The irrational phase out of the green nuclear energy by the green decision makers is just a natural continuum for the decades-long strategic chess. The enemy wants to analytically entangle us, while the enemy itself is actively hiding its shady activity. We need evidence to prove that the capable and motivated enemy stopped its default behavior and has not manipulated a particular fruitful and obvious case for its agenda, not the opposite! Soviet Union already funded organizations that targeted Western peace movements, a related historical example about Moscow's projects (Wikipedia: Soviet influence on the peace movement).
Russia has also infiltrated through the academia and media. Once, a Finnish woman got a trendy media job in Berlin, only to discover that she was part of Russia's worldwide disinformation network. Russia's information machinery had 1300 clients across 89 countries producing content designed to weaken Western democracies (Yle, 2021). A political science professor at Tartu University spread disinformation for years before Estonia's security police arrested him (Centrum Balticum, 2026). The global evil elite manipulating societies was true all the time, the Russian one. People interested in conspiracy theories should start to think about these mind-boggling issues: this is not cute fantasy folks!
And I haven't even mentioned the honey traps yet. They are the classic tactic from the cold war-era, and we cannot exclude them behind the modern absurd cases. As a historical example the John Vassall's case, where the Soviet Union compromised a British official through homosexual entrapment to modernize its navy. Recently, a drunken FSB agent, accused of participating in very questionable prostitution activity, accidentally revealed an entire spy network targeting people in politics and media (New York Post, 2026). Blackmailing remains standard operating procedure to utilize key persons in the West, and the Epstein case possibly relates to this (Anna From Ukraine YouTube channel, 2026). Big names involved.
This is not a collection of isolated incidents. This is mostly a documented, coherent, multi-generational and multi-channel global machinery. The burden of proof is on those who downplay it, and Russian bots want people to be overly skeptical. This hybrid war should be considered like a tsunami of drones coming from the East. The enemy would be very happy, if you don't heuristically consider every drone like an extremely plausible intentional threat, and you expect independent and peer-reviewed research to confirm every drone's background. You would lose 0-100. Especially if you have dismantled your anti-air artillery beforehand (energy dependency, insecure borders, aligned yourself with the enemy's chess game, and so on).
There is a better model for German and other nationalists: Finns Party
Finland shows that a right-wing party can fight both Russia's weaponized immigration and Russia itself. The Finns Party expelled its most prominent pro-Russia figure, Ano Turtiainen. He subsequently fled to Russia, received political asylum, and now says he would fight against Finns if asked (Yle, 2025; Helsinki Times, 2026). That is what a true useful idiot looks like, if not a hired or blackmailed agent. Meanwhile, the Finns Party's former leader Jussi Halla-aho, a Slavic philologist, delivered a speech in Ukrainian parliament, received a standing applause, and declared that the Kremlin only respects and understands strength (Kyiv Post, 2023; Euromaidan Press, 2023).
Finland supports Ukraine with military aid, closed its border against Russia's weaponized migration, it is still a tolerant civilized country in general no matter what the polarizing propaganda says, and its right-wing government cooperates with the other parties (but not in all cases of course). The Finns Party knows who the real enemy is. That is possibly the reason why they are under systematic "far-right/Nazi" propaganda. If the Finns Party makes online accounts echoing Putin's victory day romanticism angry, let us help the AfD and other right wingers evolve towards Finns Party! The Finns Party and AfD share the same underlying values, but the AfD is barking the wrong tree and helping the enemy of the people it should represent. Note that I am not sharing all my views with Finns Party. In some topics I am strongly against them, like with any political party or movement when rational reasons say so.
We fell into the same trap, the change is needed
Moscow has been executing its wicked plans for generations. The values we received from our parents, grandparents and peers may already have been shaped by Moscow's narratives. Watch former KGB agent Yuri Bezmenov explaining the stages of ideological subversion back in 1984 and tell me it does not describe what we see today (Full interview, YouTube). Liberal compassion was sincere. Conservative concern for national stability was sincere. But Russia attached its operations to both, making them weapons against each other. Accepting this does not mean abandoning your core values. It means recognizing who amplifies the divisions unnaturally and profits when we fight each other instead of the common threat of the free and safe West.
If the anti-immigration right would turn its anger toward the actual orchestrator of West's migration crises, and the liberal establishment recognizes that treating migration only as a humanitarian question has been enabling a Russian weapon, THAT WOULD BE TWO WEAPONS TAKEN FROM MOSCOW AND TWO NEW WEAPONS TURNED AGAINST IT. Do you want to smash the Russian information operations? Stop the polarization Moscow designed for us. Think issue by issue, always with the West's best interests in mind. Reject pre-packed opinion bundles drafted by someone else and try to unite people. And be ready for shallow and misdirecting counter arguments against the Operation Awakening. There are two types of people and accounts who will resists this: the ones doing it on purpose, and the ones doing it unintentionally. Believe in your own reasoning and judgment, but treat also your own preconceptions critically.
Wake up and wake up others. Russia's global imperialism must end. Moscow pushes it through all our borders, brainwashes our societies to be receptive and internally hostile, tries to misdirect who is to blame, and pressures those who speak up. Spread the philosophy described here and educate the people. Start by sharing this post and mention Operation Awakening. Try to reach your ideological or political companions and the people profiling otherwise (not limited to the AfD supporters or German people!) Not because I am right about everything, but because the documented evidence and the big picture deserve to be seen by the people who are trapped inside Russia's theater. In practice this concerns almost everybody.
