So I've heard all sorts of stories about hostel. Alot of people recommended me not to apply due to its environment. But any insider who can actually guide me on this, unbiased??

I'm just curious when we'll get news from nca regarding our entry test results.

I just received my A levels result and failed maths ive decided to give retake in oct nov and improve my result so that the result comes by the start of January when nca classes start i gave my nca test recently im just concerned what if i get short listed i applied for self is there any chance if i can give my improved result in january and still be considered for admission koi sifarish wagara hoti ya nca faculty agar khud thora kerde help out?

I gave my admission on Hope certificate for A levels but unfortunately failed my physics. I plan to give the retake in October November session. Is there any chance that I can still get into the university despite the fact that I will get my result in January?

I have my test tmrw for architecture in rwp , I gave comsats test my drawing was pretty decent but I didn't get in , so I need tips for what I should practise still life mein kia kai , I don't know how to make a face just eyes but like yeah

went into the room and there was a messily placed cloth eith stripes across it against the wall, was quite tricky getting the crumpled up wrinkles right and then also matching the direction of dark stripes with it but all went well

The NCA test is in two days and I feel like I’m losing my mindddddddd!!!!

A little background: I’ve been doing art for most of my life. I took O Level and A Level Art, got an A* in O Level, and my A Level results come out two days after the NCA test. My predicted grades are three A*s, and I’ve spent the last two years practically living for my A Level art portfolio. I also got accepted into universities abroad, but I couldn’t attend because I didn’t receive the financial aid from the one university I was fully committed to.

The weird thing is… I don’t know why I’m so much more stressed about NCA than anything else. It’s just one university, but it’s the only one I’ve genuinely wanted to go to since I was a kid. I don’t really care about PU, PIFD, IAC, or BNU. Ever since I was little, all I’ve heard about is NCA, and I’ve worked my ass off with that goal in mind. If I don’t get into NCA and end up somewhere else, I honestly don’t think I’ll be happy.

I know my drawing skills are solid, but I’ve been hearing people say things like your line work has to be perfect, it can’t look rough, etc. That honestly confuses me because… isn’t that what art school is for? Aren’t they supposed to help polish your skills instead of expecting you to already be perfect?

Then there’s the aptitude test. I genuinely don’t know how to prepare for it. I’ve looked at past papers, and they’re mostly general knowledge, but what if they ask something completely random? I’ve heard they sometimes include current affairs and other pakstudies questions. I’m okay with current affairs because I try to stay updated, but I’m definitely not someone who remembers everything from Pakistan Studies or random facts.

And the drawing test… if they give us a human figure to draw, I’m actually cooked. 😭 That’s probably my biggest fear right now.
I’m also stressing about the interview, but I guess that’s a problem for later. First I have to actually get shortlisted.

PS. I applied for fine arts and textile with fine arts being my first choice

What do you guys think they'll make us draw? All the previous prompts have been completely random.

when will it be announced? and is it gonna through sms or email or what? also will everyone be called for interview or just the selected candidates?

does anyone know how important the aptitude test is? not sure if its marks or grades but what if im reeeally good at the drawing part but idk anything about art history 😝 do i stand a chance?

They should have some kind of phone collecting service. How are we supposed to stay from 8:30 to 2:30 without being able to contact anyone. What about the people who need their phones to get to the centre and back??
